  • Good job 5AM god bless going to this job with a mind set of what i have just heard you speak about and i am ordering the book for me and some others. I will subscribe Peace Keith

  • Amen preach!

  • You're a good dude. Just saw the Frank Schaeffer video, and he says a lot of things that many Christians need to hear.

  • Jesus said "take no thought for the morrow" so of course Christians want it now, the scripture tells them they can.

It tells them if they believe and pray, they can have what ever they want. Anything at all, as long as it doesn't transgress the same scripture.

Clearly they cant, but it will make people who don't get what they want through prayer frustrated and inpatient.

  • Well John 15:7 says, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." So following this scripture we really don't get anything we want. Having the word in us kind of alters what we ask for. We won't ask for just any and everything.

  • Also you misunderstand Matthew 6:34, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." This means don't worry about tomorrow, have faith, because things will work out. This scripture is not referring to prayer.

You are right though that many believe they can just pray for anything random and get it now. So, thank you for your thoughtful comments. Peace & Love

  • I know thats not prayer.

Yeah, follow me dont worry about a thing, God or Jesus (or the combination that I dont think any one understands) will provide.

But life is not like that, is it.

  • Hey brother its all about your perspective. We just complain too much! Of course things can be better, I can't deny that. But hell things could be far, far worse.

  • I'll use the current auto crisis. We had several people attempt suicide because they lost their auto jobs. Others saved and invested and aren't worried that they lost their job (at least in the short term). Still others went right back to school (e.g. Michigan is short on nurses and nurse aides and becoming a nurse aide is only a two week course!!!)

  • Good job. I agree with what you're saying, but me myself I feel am too disengaged and unmotivated to be the christian my parents want me to be. I have this incredible feeling deep down inside that what is being taught to me at church is good in its intentions but ultimately untrue.

  • Study the Bible for yourself. I suggest you go through a program called, "The Bible in 90 Days". Yes, it helps you read the WHOLE Bible in 90 days. After this start, you begin making your own decisions on whether the biblical interpretations you are being taught are correct. Its ALL about interpretation. Peace and Love.

  • You speak the truth!

    I enjoyed watching this..good job!

    God Bless you :)

  • Thank you for your kind words.

  • You're exactly right! Good job brother!

  • Thank you. Nice channel.

  • Well done brother. As someone who was greatly influenced by Frank's father and a follower of the RR back in the protest days, I find it so refreshing to find other voices expounding the real truth of the plague of mediocrity in the so called "Church" preach on!

  • Too much mediocrity exists---it needs to be eliminated through education and practical bible teachings.

  • great message brother!

  • Thanks.

  • What's your source for "only 7% read the bible"? That is a very disturbing fact.

  • I await more on this...

Thank you for making this video... the whole instant blessing and running around church during "praise break" is just funny, but it certainly is not receiveing the Holy Spirit

  • I always enjoy your comments. Part 2 is up and at least a few more will follow. Peace.

  • Good Video!

I agree that's why our people are lost in the church.

    Prov 28:20

A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

  • Good scriptural quote. I will defiantly use this in a lecture or sermon before the end of the year.
