yes this song was written by brian may and I love queen always have always will there 2 best albums has to be a night at the opera & jazz & I dont care if freddy ws gay that was my man love you freddy miss you R.I.P still will listen to you guys till the day I die.
I'm shocked to find out Brian wrote this song! I always thought it was SOOO Freddie. Should have guessed with the accoustic guitar part that it's Bri, but the lyrics and playfulness seemed very Freddie... bit like Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon, Millionaire Waltz for example.
So talented all four of them. So many different genres in all of their work that it's scary how good they were. Long live Queen!
I love this song..I was lucky enough to see Queen live a few times..'77 '78 and '82..they just blew me away every time!! Pure Genius..4 Amazing Men..this group never disapointed..Freddie Mercury..perfect voice..beautiful, sexy..sweet! Brian May master of the guitar..Roger Taylor great drummer..John Deacon..loved his bass..everyone an amazing songwriter...what a perfect combination..I miss your presence Farrokh Bulsara..you were a gift....will always be a fan!!
Mmmm...such a beautiful piece. A gorgeous, melancholy sentiment and Freddie's voice just warms my heart (coupled with Brian's guitar that seems to be almost singing). Sigh...what a fabulous band.
Hello! I dont speak English fluently, so, someone can tell me what means ''dreamer's ball''? Btw, It's a precious song. Everything Queen did, IS fantastic <3
I simply cannot find the words to describe the love I have for the phenonemon that is Queen!! No one, but no one, can touch them for shear originality and quality!!
This song is so original and even to this day it stands the test of time. Truly a remarkable album "Jazz". Freddie was at the height of his career and Brian, Roger and John all contributed with great songwriting skills along with musical arrangement and instrumental input to Freddie's fantastic voice. We love you forever Freddie! Queen is still the best!
@clasapu yo no comente esta cancion,y si no lo hice eso quiere decir que alguien me esta suplantando y eso como lo verifico,si alguien puede ayudarme se agradeceria.
Best acustic song from queen (acustic live)... And definitley best queen song in the jazz album... Who needs marijuana and crap like that when you can get high with songs like this... Right now Im seeing the stars dacing to this sound... Oh wait its me...
Oh guys too bad... Queen fans insulting each others =( We all love Queen, it´s a passion we have in common, please dont argue think how sad our Queenies would be if they saw their fans discussing =) Cool song 8D
I thought this was a Freddie Mercury song. I have this on cassette tape and the inside cover sleeve said that this was written by Freddie Mercury song. I could be wrong.
folks, we're missing the point of this song. we came here to listen this music. this is a fantastic song, and if one person feels they have to attack someone becasue this person dislikes the song or the artist, then it's not worth it. listen to the song, ignore that person, and remember why we searched for this particular song in the first place...because it makes you feel good. cheesy as fuck, but it's true.
Constantly underrated, Dreamer's Ball has Freddie's best vocal performance. Not going too high notes (unlike My Melancholy Blues) , you enjoy a mellower Freddie "in blue". It reflects melancholic songwriting of May in Jazz album, alongside of Leaving Home Ain't Easy.
this was b4 i was born, and i still luv it, 2 even know this is wut was the best thing goin at my birth, and now its still the best thing goin 30 yrs later, thts talent! and staying power!

FREDDIE----->>>>>YOU ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD EVER!!!!!!! We love you!!!!!!
Hey paco, wtf is up with that attack on me???!!!! What did I say that was 'imbecilic? I don't find anything objectionable at all whatsoever! I never ever say anything but the best compliments about Freddie & Queen! I defend them to the ends of the Earth! I love everything about them! They're the best ever!!! So, what is your problem?
that's why i said it. when gerard was younger, he seemed to have the personality of freddie. but now gerard's 32 and seems to have changed a good bit. gee has an interesting voice, but not as melodic as freddie's. that's why i made the statement. i meant MCR was somewhat theatrical like queen, but it doesn't seem that way now. that's where the comparison came from. no, i agree with what you said. i haven't heard a whiteboy sing like that up to date.
i found the lyrics, and started to waltz around the living room, pretending to dance at my wedding with an invisible husband (i'm queer) and singing along. then my mom's friend came to the door. it was open, and he looked at me like i'd lost my mind, my arms around an invisible person, the music blaring, me singing. i'm 22 now. but that's what happens when you listen to good music. and queen is FAR better than good music!!!
