What you said could not be more true. We have very few good rappers anymore. Tupac was and will always be the greatest rapper we will ever have. I hate listening to hiphop and rap from the 90's and 80's. It just reminds me how TERRIBLE today's so-called hiphop artists are. Can you see Lil Wayne writing lyrics like these? 50 cent and his Candy shop? Not a chance.
This is something that puzzles me : everyone makes fun of Vanilla Ice and Ice Ice Baby, yet 50 gets a pass with Candy Shop? Really? 50 would've been "Vanilla Ice" in the 80s and 90s, Lil Wayne doesn't even deserve to be mentioned, he is beyond terrible.

What you said could not be more true. We have very few good rappers anymore. Tupac was and will always be the greatest rapper we will ever have. The only good one I can even think of off the top of my head is DMX, he actually has something to say in his lyrics, and he is incredibly gifted. Sad part is, he is falling apart, to much drugs. He is letting the world tear him apart.

IMO Pac wasn't meant to be a battle emcee, I understood why he was angry because of the shooting incident and everything, but its just sad to here him and such an angry, animosity filled state. I like this side of tupac best, dear mama and all those heart filled tracks.. Hit em up was good but it had no message, it was just you deserve to die.. you cant learn to fly.
Mobb Deep and Chino Xl are all garbage though it's obvious He was wrong about biggie and nas but ya its not how i remember him

I guess you will like biggie If you are to slow to comprend the words that come out of his mouth. I think thats why people like them so called rappers. That aint got no flow and throw'n any word as long as it rhyms & don't have shit to do with its hooks. If you want some one to listen to that is a great rapper and is not quite know or given his credit then listen to Big Moe! He goes hard without going to fast. Listen to the music not the hooks, which gave biggie a name.
