This is the first time I have ever seen a JD Fortune version of ANY INXS song. No offence to JD or his fans, but I hate it! No one can ever replace a Lead singer that has "passed"(and after 20 years). I have been to a few INXS gigs in the late 80's/early 90's in Melbourne. Well this is closer to my point, the "band" tried not only Trent D,Arby, but also Jon Stevens. It seems that along the way the whole loss of Michael Hutchence never got true respect and within a short space of time "INXS" were back ! To me each new recruitment just shows how insensative the present day band are to the faithfull fans. And no it's not jealousy its a case of teen idol to teen fan... job done..! Just turns a once great band into a marketing circus.

I just feel that INXS could have still go on, but in a way that could have pleased most people. Think it would have been great to organise world tours with different artists to celebrate Michaels time with INXS. Tribute concerts covering all the songs, something similar they did for John Lennon or Freddie Mercury. just dont think any "one" artist could really get away with being frontman with INXS apart from Michael Hutchence.

Yes it's the fault of present day INXS for recruiting. In 1997 the remaining members of INXS released a press statement " out of respect we will now call the band The Fariss Brothers like we were before Michael" three or so attempts later the band is still called "INXS" because they are aware that the band without it's link to the past would be a wash out. "JD" was a marketing tool inducted into "present day INXS" to capture a new crowd. There is a massive crowd who also hate him in the band.
