Realistically though, why the fuck did Madrid sign this guy? With midfielders like Alonso, Diarra, Kaka, Ozil, Di Maria, Khedira and the likes, Nuri Sahin is nothing but a benchwarmer.

He would have done so much better coming to Arsenal in the summer.

@DeadKidKing Alonso is 31. Diarra is better as a right back. Kaka and Ozil are attacking midfielders. Di Maria is a right winger. Khedira is his only competition and eventually Khedira's gonna lose his place. The reason why Sahin hasn't been playing all that much is because he's having his "preseason." He never had a real preseason because of injuries. I hope by the second half of the season he'll star more frequently than Khedira. Sahin, Alonso, and Ozil would make a killer midfield.

I know that Nuri has the quality and I think that soon he will become a starter in the midfield! He is the other midfield player that Madrid needs to take their midfield game to a higher level! Madrid are already a good team, but Nuri will help improve their midfield possession,passing,vision and THEN Real will be incredible! Nuri is the KEY player to complete it!
