@TFKuploader during special bosses, if you die, it shows a different white continue screen. if you choose "i won't give up!" you play as king mickey, the yoda of kingdom hearts. sadly, mickey cant finish off bosses, so you have to use his pearl ability to revive sora.

The negative combo can actually be a bonus. If you've leveled up to the point that you can equip the negative combo ability by itself, then add the Fenrir, all of Sora's attacks will be finishers. Like you can just hit X over and over and you'll just do "Explosion" over and over.

In KH1 and KH BBS characters would either do nothing(KH1) or return to defult battle stance(BBS)

He cant do reaction commands because they take a certain motion and only sora has the motion programmed into him so if he tried to do them he would stand in midair with his arms out to his sides
