Bill is playing a Gibson ES446S guitar. It isn't produced anymore. Solid carved spruce top with a carved mahogany body. It has a thick top to reduce some of the feedback associated with hollow electric guitars. And a thin body. I have one that I had modified to like Bills. Bill changed a lot of things on the guitar. He has a solid tailpiece from a 175 on it, Duncan Antiquity pickups, changed the tuners, bridge, etc.
