hi there! Love the guitar but I can't stand the bridge.. Do you guys know if there's a compatible fully adjustable bridge to replace the stock one? Maybe the Tonepros as in the Akesson model? Any direct/indirect experience?
Hey NstuffMusic guys, I wonder if you can tell me how much is the international shipping to South America? I sent you an e-mail, but you have not answered yet.
@scorpionguitar We do, we would need you to send us your mailing address so we can give you a shipping quote. We would have to complete the transaction by wire transfer and not with a credit card.
How would you compare the neck size compared to say a schecter hellraiser as I'm thinking of swapping guitars in favour of humbuckers instead of actives
I love PRS. they just seem so classy. you think of guys like Santana and Al Di Meola, it's just one of those brands that tell people you're a great player. Even the name, Paul Reed Smith, it just sounds great! Can't wait to get one next year!!!
I understand that since they're made in Korea, they aren't made with as much craftsmanship; but are they still made with the extreme attention to detail? i.e. book matched woodgrain? I don't have the money for a true American PRS, but if I get this, is it close enough?
What would you say is the difference from a PRS model such as this one compared to a more expensive model such as a PRS SE 250? I know they both have different sounds and different features, but are there any major differences in the quality of them both or is just the features and the specs. that make them more expensive?
@vanthemon The SE models are made in Korea. The SC250 model has been discontinued but it was made in the USA. The USA models have better craftsmanship.
@krispykrunkdonut I like the SE245 much more. Thicker body thicker sound! it has the smaller LP scale length. Very cool $619.00 with gig bag at nstuffmusic.
@PieceOfMind56 It's a great guitar. I has great humbucker sounds. You can not split to single coil tones so if that's something your looking for you it may not be the best choice but if your looking for great humbucking tones it's great!
@NstuffMusic Or we can just install push/pull knob to split to single coil? That's a minor install and would increase the possibility of this great guitar, don't you think?
@AlexanderLibak NOT AT ALL!!! dont get me wrong paul rario is a phenominal guitar player....he is better in my opinion...but he reviews are nothing compared to this....paul rario uses too many effects and its hard to hear the true sound of the guitars...and he never even sais what gear he is using....this guy uses a pure clean tone with no effects so you can really hear the guitar its self and not the effects
@Willy3794 maybe you're right but i simply dont like the way he show us the guitar sound. It is kinda without soul, only scales & scales.. maybe i dont get into jazz scales? :)
Love the SOLID Birds. The outline ones just don't do it for me. All you need on this video is an eye patch. LOL I wonder how much difference tone wise that you would hear if this was compared to the expensive PRS 245 Model?

How thick is the neck? I was looking at getting this one or a tremonti se.
gbsons 5 months ago
@gbsons Both the Tremonti and the SE245 have a wide fat neck shape. The body is thicker on the SE245 which gives it a fuller sound.

Love the SOLID Birds. The outline ones just don't do it for me. All you need on this video is an eye patch. LOL I wonder how much difference tone wise that you would hear if this was compared to the expensive PRS 245 Model?
Also, is this body Solid or Chambered?
