The "Google Experience" is pretty shabby. Its taken over 2 years for them to get only half the fun of YT on the app. Gmail looks terrible & you can only attach pics without an app. Google Maps & Translate are cool, Sky Maps is fun although you'll barely use it. The other email app is pointless.

@stayalive1017 Well it all depends on what android phone you get, HTC Desire is something I'd consider if I were you. Also the Galaxy S (my phone) amazing. You should really look into the different types out there, what suits your needs etc.

Need help people. I have a samsung vibrant t959 the tmobile galaxy s. It is unlocked and I'm using it on AT&T. This is my first android device I switched from iPhone. Eventually will have a 1280x760 screen, though it's largely useless. I mean, are you bitching about how pixelated it is at max resolution? I mean, your desktop is either 72 or 96dpi. Your phone's a little closer, but then most made in the last year are 200 dpi anyway.

I'm going to point that they are both amazing mobile operating systems with each having their own benefits. I happen to currently own a HTC Evo of course running Froyo and a iPhone 3G running iOS4, which as we know doesn't work quite well, but I've used it on an iPhone 4, its amazing on the proper hardware. I prefer iOS4, but completion is good. Once again, nice comment.

I own a wildfire and i will get you Android 2.2 - Follow these steps.
1.) Open up the settings. Menu > Settings
2.) Open the button that says, 'About Phone'.
3.) Now at the top it shuld say, 'System software updates'. Open that.
4.) Click the check now button then a window should pop up saying something along the lines 'Download android 2.2'

Eventually will have a 1280x760 screen, though it's largely useless. I mean, are you bitching about how pixelated it is at max resolution? I mean, your desktop is either 72 or 96dpi. Your phone's a little closer, but then most made in the last year are 200 dpi anyway.
Thus 250+dpi on a 3.7-4" screen is largely useless unless you stick the thing up your nose. That said, everyone wants one now due to ignorance of a LOT of people, just like 10MP cameras for 4"x6" development.

Alright, I love android and have a droid eris and two archos tablets, but it gets ridiculous when people say things like, "the iphone is shit." It really isn't shit... I'm not saying i'm ever going to buy one, but all in all it's a pretty sick phone.. So let's just cut these biased comments and look at facts when we judge phones..

@hilerc I really like to see when obviously smart people post smart comments. I'm not going to bash iOS4 or Android 2.2 Froyo. I'm going to point that they are both amazing mobile operating systems with each having their own benefits. I happen to currently own a HTC Evo of course running Froyo and a iPhone 3G running iOS4, which as we know doesn't work quite well, but I've used it on an iPhone 4, its amazing on the proper hardware. I prefer iOS4, but completion is good. Once again, nice comment.
