  • will it work with sony vegas 9?

  • @BoarderFunkey i recomend you to buy the hfs series those are the ones that come with touchscreen and 8 megapixels on photo and is compatible with vegas but remember if there's low light use the cine mode hfs not hf

  • what do you think, is this camcorder better than panasonic sd90??

  • If you connect the Canon VIXIA HF200 to a computer via USB, will you get a live video feed from the camera to the computer screen?

  • mac sucks

it doesn't have 2 different kinds of flashes ass hole

    its a canon AF senser

  • You can use VLC to quickly view AVCHD formatted videos natively on your computer.

  • lol your voice has changed alot?

  • Yeah, actual HD footage at highest res from the HF200 would be very helpful.

Also, what camera was used for this review of the camera?

  • @Bosingr Sorry, I'll remember to include that next time or I'll make another video about it! I used the usual camera- the Sony webbie HD because all the settings in Final Cut express are set to the sony camera.

  • @themacexpert OK, good. How does the Canon's video quality compare to the Webbie so far? Have you shot enough with the new Canon to notice any significant differences?

I was also going to say that Canon has a new digital still cam to replace the SX120 with; the SX200, which has 720P HD video & 12MP still photo capture.

  • @Bosingr There is BIG difference. The Canon quality is significantly better, but it should be because its about 4x the price of the Sony webbie.

The SX200 probably has better video quality than the SX120, I was not impressed with the SX120's video functionality.

  • @themacexpert Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, that does make sense, since the Canon cost$ that much more. I guess it should be a lot better. lol

  • @RegiiM It's about $800. ($799)

  • This is the one I wanted. Well this or the HF10. Footage, please?

  • @JoanIsNotTheMaid alrighty

  • Great review!!!! one problem is that the sound is "fluctuating" a bit
