Yeah copper never fails. Right? Once you make a joint in copper and run water through it, what kind of warranty do you have? If the slab or ground shifts, does copper have any give? Each product has it's own best use scenario, direct burial underground is never a good option for copper.
Why do all the salesmen present the 20 year warranty as a sell point. I'm going to put this under the concrete foundation in my house. It sure as hell better hold up for a lot longer than 20 years!

@JonnyRawket Good point, but I look at it this way, I Chevy has a 100,000 mile warranty, but can last 300,000 miles. But I could be wrong in this comparision

@verdecapo: The color does not matter. It is there to make it easier for you to differentiate between hot and cold lines.
