I had this song in my head (after not hearing it for over twenty years) and found it in ten seconds on youtube (like I knew I would).... I love youtube. :)
@DRobin741 If you want to relive the 80's arcade there is a Arcade in TN called Game Galaxy. They have over 80 arcade cabinets all from the 80's to 90's. It looks and feels just like arcades did in the 80's. There website is gamegalaxyarcade. They have all the Pac-mans and Donkey Kong.
@Ziffel67 This song is the 1999 remake of the song, and by then, the game was long gone and very few if any copies of it remained, so they tried to do the best they could with the sound effects. It didn't survive like the other seven games did throughout history.

@ManekiNeko1972 This is the original. If you to go Amazon and listen to their samples, it's pretty easy to tell the remake from this version.

Man!! I miss those days (80s). I had this album. This (to Me) was the best song other than Pac-Man Fever.

Loved this song and the game too.
One question: When the hawk appears is the sound effect supposed to be that of an old maniacal guy?
I can turn into a dog if I only had a bone and could press the doggie button they would leave me all alone! Good stuff!
The Atari 2600 mousetrap game was too easy (it didn't have the hawk being one reason). But the arcade game was hard.

The song rocks, and Mouse Trap is definitely one of my favorite Pac-Man clones! It's close between Mouse Trap and Ladybug.
