  • @huntpivot2

No, I legally bought MMF 1.5 and MMF 2.

  • btw, are you gonna have a User-Custom Stage Creation on 2p Scroller? That'd be the best function ever.

Oh and is Zoom Out upon expanding Protoman and Megaman supported? I hope so

  • @KeiTakaro

I think I could do that when the rest is done, yeah. Nice suggestion. :)

  • Thanks for replying back too ^_^

    Awesome work

  • No worries. And yeah I was gonna do that zooming out like in MM2.5D for co-op.

I've been messing with OpenGL too and it's a lot easier than I thought. :)

  • Hey I'm just starting with mmf2. I've been testing out a lot of different objects and the parallaxer is the most impressive so far. How did you get the parallaxer to pan with the player instead of panning on a set speed in a set direction?

Current formula is Set Offset = ("Parallaxer")+1. plus being the direction, 1 being the speed. (from the example demo)

Also, is there a list of expressions for mmf2 to access the preset global variables like "Player X" somewhere?

  • As I posted in my video on the parallaxer object, you just use the player x position as the offset. You do that by retrieving data from the player object in the expression editor and choosing x-position. You can also just write X("myObjectName")

  • This looks good. and the co-op game would be so sweet! i love megaman

  • inb4 Cease and Desist letter

  • lol

  • Nice concept. I'm interested in what comes from it.

  • Awesome im a spriter i can help you, pm if you want.

  • I'm using Megaman 2's sprites so I don't need any graphics designed. Possibly with the exception of 3D levels, but I might do that myself. And maybe 3D versions of the 2D sprites.

  • Looks amazing

also, the music is from a Keygen for Sony Vegas

  • I like the 3D feature, might be a toggleable feature if people want to have the retro graphics.

Also like the listed Gamemodes in this video, keep it up!

  • Yeah I thought being able to toggle 3D on and off might be a good idea.

  • Was it really necessary to use my name for your opponents? I mean, you could have used some of your other friends names. Though I see you used others like MegaPhilX's name. But It looked like you used me for the most of it. And playing as the bad guy for that matter. X_X

Although 3D is nice, I really don't like the mixed concept. I say stay either 2D only, or 3D only.

  • I thought you would find it funny. xD

  • The names are all people working on Megaman things with videos on youtube (wartwartx is Peter Sjostrand, the Megaman 2.5D animator).
