I actually did this fight this afternoon. Instead of Yosuke, I used Teddie. More buffs helped, plus having a second healer never hurt.

@kenseitakezo No. It's NOT A NAZI. Izamani was Izanagi's wife (the protagonist's (Yu, I think his name is) Persona is Izanagi) and she set it all up, in an attempt to kill Yu, thus killing Izanagi.

@kenseitakezo Clever observation but if you had paid attention on your field trip to gekkoukan high you would have realized that Kubo explains the myth of izanami and izanagi in great detail. Persona 2 was indeed nazi related (and unfortunately couldn't make it to the states till earlier this year) but persona 4 is japanese myth based.

BGM is awesome (also the battle). However, I'd prefer "Battle Hymn of Everyone Soul" more. Not that I'm against P4, it's just that I'm fond of P3 the most. :P

@asgardharmony On the last day MC is in Inaba, you have to find and talk to everyone that you maxed out social links with. After you do that the gas attendant person should be standing outside of the gas station. Talk to her, then you should be on the True ending path when she reveals her true form and plan.

I have yet to beat this game... she always gets me at megidolaon! I thought I could level up to max level like i did in p3 but the dungeons exp points are cheap!

are you playing on Normal or Expert? I think i ended at about 78-80, not sure. This fight was actually extremely simple for me, my party just attacked and then Yukiko used a Mediarahn and Izanami attack and so forth, none of the attacks she added in at all made it harder.

I do regret using Naoto in the fight though, she was the only one who couldn't stand up to all the attacks.

I was on Normal and level 89(I wasn't the smart type with this game with strategies lol) I was more on offensive than strategically. But I wised up and beat her twice!!! I'm gonna try again on expert.

You said this one was easy? Well, I cleared this just a moment ago and I was playing at Normal, and still it was hard! Izanami is easy, but I wasted lots of SP to end it all cool with debliriate, power charge and gods hand by myself, while others were guarding. I kinda regretted that after seing its true form, although I do agree it wasn`t too hard, but not too easy either, especially with how I wasted SP. My party were lvl 80 while I was 94. I barely won after he killed off my party! -.-

it's pretty easy(but i tried with naoto, who lacks health & sp.) thankfully, my mc, chie & yukiko were able 2 pick up the slack(with yukiko doing nothing but healing with salvation.)

I think Izanami battle is slightly easier than Nyx Avatar, given that the first battle is only one per turn.

Music wise, better than P3.

Battle wise, P3 is better though.

Plot wise, better than P3.

Nyx avatar is a lot easier. Izanami's first turn used megidoaloan and wipe out my party even though i'm buffed with defense.

there are 3 endings bad, true and normal

about bad i dont know, about normal after u defeat adachi the game ends, and true after you defeat adachi you continue the game there are choices you must make

Beating Adachi yeah, but after that I walked around town to say good bye and stuff and got an ending... Thats it :/ But this looks interesting and I hope I get to this part on my 2nd playthrough

After you say goodbye to everyone your supposed to stay when the game tells you to go home. Then go to Junes to start the true ending.

When unlocking the Magatsu Town answer 3 incorrectly and you will get a bad ending :D

Err its the true ending basically. If you went home on the "last day" you got the normal ending. If you returned to junes even though you "didnt need to be there" You get into a convo and get the true ending.

I never saw any reason to just not have the hit all Dyne spell be your only elemental. The worst that can happen is some of the enemies absorb it, which isn't a big deal as long as you hit someone Weak to it. Reflecting is no big deal since once you max a social link they become immune to whatever they're casting.

Not only the normal and dyne spells. (I mean for all elements like Bufu and Bufudyne)

You can use other offensive skills at the cost of HP, like Chie doing God's Hand move instead of casting Bufudyne on Izanami.

Chie never learns Bufudyne. She abandons the magic attacks and focuses on offensive skills. She doesn't even learn Mabufula (Teddie takes over the bufu role... I think).

@Nesaru Yeah Chie and Kanji use physical attacks, Teddie uses ice magic, yukiko uses fire magic, yousuke uses wind magic, naoto uses almighty magic. kanji learns the best single hit physical attack in the game though, Primal force

@Nesaru I was so disappointed for that. I abandoned her once I got to Adachi's dungeon, and had to use Naoto instead. Imagine the pain of using her in boss battles. I had to use her for the Adachi fight, onward through the good ending.

heres the story of izanami, izanami somehow got to the world of darkness (yomi) and her hesband Izanagi (MCs persona) went to find her, he found her but Izanami said she was too late and had already been one with the land of the dead, she shined a torch on her and Izanagi saw her hideous figure that had succumbed to darkness, so he ran away and Izanami was evil.

If this boss was Nyx.. it would've gone to its 6th or 7th Arcana in less than 3 minutes.

Each form would've been 2 shotted by Yukiko or Chie instantly.

In this case, one Arcana per round since Chie + Yukiko + Yousuke does over 1k damage (more than enough for each of Nyx's arcana).

Besides, Nyx doesn't have some thing where he's invincible after he reaches 0 health. And her second form actually wtfPWNs all your members before the scripted final battle where P4 MC gets Izanagi-no-Okami and wtfPWNs her.
