  • Look at how young Janick Gers is! HOLY SHIT

  • Gillan es el MONSTRUO SAGRADO.

  • Excellent quality too - has this been transferred from VHS??

  • WOW - been looking for this for ages!

I remember watching it when it was broadcast.

    Fantastic stuff - CHEERS!!

  • Dan's gone from lead singer to bass player over the years

    x

  • Brilliant piece of pop history. If you think the bass was loud, it's because that's the way McCoy liked it! I used his rig when my band supported Gillan at the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone in this year, and I was easily louder than everyone else :)

As for No. 73, does anyone remember the name of the grumpy neighbour character in the show, played by Richard Addison ( a nice bloke from Westgate)?

    Where is he now?

  • Funny!

  • Release a proper GILLAN video!!!

BTW the bass was hillarious loud in this clip :)

  • cant believe how young sandi thosvik look on there.I can remember watching this at me grans on a saturday morning

  • Oh finally. A perfect quality of this rare footage

    Thank you

  • Gillan is so under-rated and under-appreciated in the US. His music is all over the map - not just Deep Purple. Listen to Gillan, Ian Gillan Band, and his solo work as well.

  • @louisVAogden Usa people like Kiss that explain why they overlook true rock genius like Gillan...

  • @nazzare79

I agree and it is unfortunate. Kiss, and many others, are childish showmen - not musicians. Sometimes being from the USA is embarrassing (Big Smile)!!!!!!!!!!

  • @louisVAogden and you are one of the few that understand it...
