Could you tell me where you got all the parts for this? Also if you could show how to build this. Thanks. Oh and would you like to build me one and I would buy it off of you?
I am selling them on w w w . L P E p o w e r . c o m (without spaces). The engines i sell there are even better and run much smoother than this one, and are more powerfull.
It comes preassembled and set up. 150 just about covers material cost, without the labor needed to modify the switches, cylinders, make the tubing, assemble the engine...
No. I don't sell parts. I need them for the costumer engines. Besides, without instructions, which i don't offer, they're useless. But you can buy parts individually on w w w . bricklink . c o m (without spaces).
Are the tubes and power source made by lego, or fabricated yourself? Have you tried raising the gear ratio and changing the setup so more than one cylinders go off at once?
Very cool engine, I'd love to see that with a drivetrain and a pair of wheels.
WOW. .. maybe you could shoot a video of your box of legos.. that would be as exciting.. Up the air pressure and film it exploding dude.. then you have a video!
i was building your inline 4 and making it into a inline 2. i cut off two mm of the switch and when ever you switch it to one side all the air leaks out the switch... Do you know how to fix it? please reply
Isn't that what the switch is supposed to do? If you switch it, all the air comming into it will go to one of the exhausts, which are connected to the cilynders, and so providing power to the cilynders...
wow dude! amazing! does that thing have oil or any lubrication cuz if you wanna break the 4000rpm line then that will need some lube or it will catch fire!
im not really sure how these work but im sure they operate on the same principles of a real internal combustion engine...try deceasing the stroke of the crank or the distance which the piston travels. Alot of moving mass absorbs energy but generates alot of torque. Since you want more revs shorten the stroke...alot of high revving race engines are built in the same way
what does it run on?

i always wonder, how the hack you make such these things, i need it for a model of mine thats way too havy to drive with electrick motors

OMG $500 dude thats really expensive. Is it already built or a kit. Cause I would pay about $150 for a kit.

Power source is a normal workshop compressor.
If you want to watch the engine in a car, check my other videos. Also check the videos i have on the LPEpower chanel.

yaywhewclips242 3 years ago
At the beginning it sounded more like it was at 3000rpm, but whatever, just my opinion, nice job!
firebat42 3 years ago
at around 1:04 It sounds exactly like a v8 idling. ...I guess that's because that's what it is.

Hi, I was wondering perhaps if I could have a parts list and/or instructions. Thanks.

Hi, Do you have a parts list for one of the v8 engines?
Also are there any kits for them?
dirtjumpdaniel 3 years ago
when you first start it the meter said 1700RPM
Chevypower265 3 years ago
Yeah, but that was just a short burst. It doesn't count. Check the 1940 rpm v6.
nicjasno 3 years ago
I understand. By the way, I seen that video its cool. Are those kits you can buy?
Chevypower265 3 years ago
Not yet. I will soon have a webshop. Selling inline engines at the beginning.
nicjasno 3 years ago
fuck the recession, I'd buy it.

sounds quite like a deisel, now that is a sweet v8.

Make a air powered engine hooked up to a 250 psi pump.

where did you get that motor

i'm sorry it felt like the air was coming out of the black part of the switch but it was leaking out of a hole in my tube right next to the swtitch

TXmatrix2nr 3 years ago
The mass of all the moving parts here is very small. The key to faster revs are the opening times of the switches.
nicjasno 3 years ago
do you use the regular switches? because they're hard to push???
DJDonPorno 3 years ago
I use modified regular switches.
nicjasno 3 years ago
what rpm r u trying to break with a lego v8?
very nice engine by the way i love seeing all the new creations you come up with, cant wait for more videos. happy building :D

4000 rpms

How many bars your cool motor takes? How many bars is needed to broke your V8?

Nicjasno do you know where i can buy like special pieces of lego i just need some to make your engine
NUCLEARSHIT 3 years ago
Yes. It's going to be in the engine bay of my newest model.
nicjasno 3 years ago
and whats this model going to be?
Savageowner610 3 years ago
Why do you say it isn't good enough? Is it intended to power something?
GrumblinYokel 3 years ago
It's not actually. I used some silicon lubricant, but it probably wore off.
nicjasno 3 years ago
How is it lubricated?

Awesome. Almost sounds like a small diesel engine.
