i dont really understand this game, im on level 2, chapter 1 it took me a while to understand i had to go to these weird places and i dont know how to beat level 2 could you give me a few tips?

Right at the start you look up at the tall black building, that's where you are headed to, follow the items that show up red and use them to vault, swing and jump to and from. Over the electric fence then big jumps across 2 gaps until you go into the black building. Have you gotten there yet? This is maybe the longest level in the game so don't worry if it takes a while.

My fastest record was a 5:13 but it's harder to do one while recording because I have to play in SD not HD. The first run would have been much closer to that time, but I highlighted in this one all the places I made mistakes that I have done quicker, so theoretically if I made no mistakes I could do a 4:45 easily. The WR back then was a 4:38 or something. on 360 done with the constant jumping 'trick'.

well you may like fps, but if you get the pc version you'll love better gfx and better 'FPS' :P

well, with PC games, you'll need some techie knowledge, to know how to maximise your FPS rate, mucking around to find correct configurations for your hardware.

knowing resolution, AA, FSAA, MSAA, AF, AAA, bilinear, trilinear filters, temporal AA, filter types (like box, edge detect, etc), A.I., vertical refresh, v-sync etc. :P

I did this speedrun today and i did really bad cause i screwed up a bunch in the server room but i got the achievement with 5:59:93!!!! 7 miliseconds under the max qualifying time! crazy but i did it!

Yes they are stupid enough to do that. But that wasn't even my point.

My point is the connection to the server if lost has no reason to stop a single player game in the middle.

See (Ea website url)/information.jsp for over 120 servers they've shut down over the last few years killing multiplayer and other online features like achievments you can only get online.

Def Jam Icon released March 2007 had it's servers turned off July 2008. So it's not even just annual sports titles. That is stupid.

No, its just a mistake, the game its not perfect. What do you want? When the servers disconnect you want a cookie and still playing like nothing happened? They are not stupid..

If I'm watching a dvd on my computer that has links to the film's website on the main menu and I lose my internet connection. Why should the dvd stop playing and go back to the main menu? Is that sensible?

I like most of the things they've done with the game obviously, but everybody does stupid things and can act stupidly on occasion. Some people would say arguing on youtube comments is stupid so maybe we can get a job at EA now ;)
