Thanks for posting . Not bad sound quality.Have to agree with Ryan , the MkI looks tad small on Mark, but more importantly MKII sounds fuller. All in all a fine live version.Lets find Mark a Graphite necked Alembic, they only made 50 , but I think he deserves one , don't you!.Perhaps the Alembic club can help.
I agree Mark looks quite big here but it was a ahile ago,I have always thought that the Kingbass was to small a bodied bass for Mark which is why the Kingbass Mk2 has been developed and definately suits his frame better.
love it...especially how the crowd gets into it by trying to sing with the guys...it's awesome. i don't blame em'...if i were there, i would be singing to the heavens and wouldn't care who could hear....go for it brother.
Credit where credit's due - these guys are/were some kind of heroes. Joyful bass virtuosity with catchy choruses set the bar for britfunk in the 80's.
As I view all of these live vids I am always taken aback by the consistant quality of all the players....I always felt Nathan is the quiet constant building block, Hubbo mind blowing as always...and now Sean Freeman just flows along with the rest of the band. Mr Lindup pure talent. By the way Who's the guy on the bass?
superb band still got this on 12inch somewhere................
