Actually BMW are not going to release the SMG on the new M3 but they are releasing a new transmission in 2008 called M DCT it is alot better then the SMG and some people are saying that the new M3's 0 to 62mph (0 to 100kmph) will be reduced 4.6sec or less!
name some other than a c6 zo6, because other than that, there arnt any others really, and even if they do its still not a BMW. and that may sound stupid but its true id rather own a 90k dollar BMW or benz that a mitsubishi that costs the same.
I totally agree with you quanying. The 7 series is one of the WORST cars of its class! idrive is standard on the 7 series and it sucks ass! The driver would have a hard time turning the radio off and the navigation system wouldn't shut off...
MEH, who buys a car for only it's interior anyway... It's fast and handles great, nuff said. My problem is there are too many great cars coming out in the sedan-based coupe class. Was leaning toward the S5, but now more interested in the M3, except there's news that an RS5 is about to be released. Choices.

i agree with glidah, this new body style and interior does look pretty cheap, but im guessing the peformance of the new M3 we be fantastic, probably the best in its class
Completely agreed. The interior looks very cheap and boring. And sadly the reviews that are showing up also say that the car is no E46, that now the M3 is some sort of "junior GT", more biased towards comfort than to performance... BMW slipped on this one, it's dissapointing.
