ISAIAH-11:13--The envy also of EPHRAIM shall depart, and the adversaries of JUDAH shall be cut off, EPHRAIM shall not envy JUDAH and JUDAH shall not vex EPHRAIM...
Yo, I used to wear the AJ joints back in da daze (A.J. Lesters-125th Harlem & Lords) w/ the flaps or the white stitches on da side & match it up w/ a velour V-neck sweater & some Clydes. Hiphop definitely rocked da style.
ken swift damn man..this dude is all style. No matter what powermove these new dudes bring, they cany maych the style and finesse and speed of ken swift.
Nice job guys! Please do more early 80's fashion videos...this was fresh right here!! Me personally, I wouldnt go nowhere without my Foxtail hangin' from my Lee's=) OMG!!! Ballys were fly too!!! leme stop...im buggin, out.......1.
they channelled their frustation and anger from poverty and turned it something positive called hip hop which was needed at the time. they didn't turn into no punks.
man at the very beginin the whole crew was together in the early 80's, and they were just teens, too bad the crew is not complete nemore due to the deaths of buckey and kuriaki. whoever killed these two jewels, gets his punishment.
You know, around the time this video came out, in '98/'99, there was a sudden craze, over here in the UK, among Hip hop fans, for dark denim suits, just like the ones in the video. I used to wonder why it started, but, having seen this, I wouldn't be surprised if it was this video that started the trend. I tried to get a copy, back when it first came out, but everywhere was sold out, so I've only just seen it for the first time. I did get volume 1, when it first came out, 10 years ago.
those are dope, but they remind me of the original power ranger outfits lol
