But, they put their kids in timeout over every little thing.

In my opinion, timeouts should be rare, and, for the purpose of actually doing something wrong.

My Mother and Father have 11 kids and they don't act all bitchy and shit, they are old but it doesn't matter. 'Cause we don't get in time out, we throw fits and kick and scream and yell and cuss. i know that their family and show has a lot of issues now...but back in these older episodes i really admire jon and kate! i cant imagine disciplining THAT many kids would be easy! (have you ever watched supernanny? lol some parents really struggle with discipline) jon and kate aren't perfect parents, but nobody is. i think at least back in these older episodes they do a really good job.

See this is what I like about JK+8. They show it all, they show you how it is on and off camera. They do not make their show all smiles and make like no one argue, fight or disagree with one another. And they tell the truth where their income comes from and how things are ran in their home. I'll watch JK+8 over the Duggar n e day, time, week or year.

I wish JK had stayed together, but oh well... nothing new, average household end up like JK and even though sad, it's real. jmo
