The luck of the Irish! nice one I was on Skye about the same time,that extra special weather that only comes a few times a year,I would love to do Antrim coast but was quoted £660 return ferry!! bit cheaper paddling eh!
Yes, it was a great trip. We completed 50nm (58miles) overall. Going from Cushendun, Mull and then Sanda Island. The return trip we covered 21nm (24miles) average 2.8knts per hr. taking 7hrs 20 mins to do the crossing. Note no pics or video on the return trip. Did not want to take my hands off the paddle. Taking careful account of the tides made a big difference to the trip with the weather (which was kind) being the biggest factor
