did you notice any difference in gas mileage changing from single to duals? I have a '96 with single exhaust and the best i can get is about 21.5 which is horrible compared to my '96 town car i used to have which i was easily able to see between 25-28
sweet 05+ GT wheels. I pick up my 03 LX Sport next week and after a bit mufflers, cold air, and possibly Bullitt or the fan blade GT wheels will be put on. None the less, nice sound
That great man. My car isn't real fast from 0-50 but rapes from 60-100. Sometimes I'm running against someone and before I know it I see 80 on the dash but it doesn't even feel like 80 'cause the ride is so soft. I have a 2000 P71 which came with duals and 3.55 from the factory so it's great fun. Great highway performance. Only since it doesn't have trac control when the wheels are kind of worn and the street are kind of slick I always peel out by mistake on the lights. Gotta be careful with it

you have much more options when it comes to wheels to pre 03 vics, You can always get a deeper dish mustang wheels or go for LX sport wheels, or if you like current mustang wheels you can get spacers. You got the best of both worlds. I got my wheels n tires from ebay. they were only 400 bux and only had 50 miles on them. It was a local seller so I picked them up and saved on shipping.

the stock crown vic engine has only about 225hp. if you change the top have of the engine "heads, intake manifold and cams" to the 99 to 04 gt mustang ones you will pick up like 70hp with the higher compression in older engine
I am no fan of the 4.6 modular engines. I love the 5.0/351W motors, BUT I will say that car sounds nice with the mufflers. I once had them on a 1988 Mustang after the factory exhaust rusted out. Good mufflers for the money.
Actually from what I have been hearing, the 04' police vics are best since it has the most HP and no "drive by wire" system. Also on the Civilian models, they were the last ones that werent "decontented"
Dude, unless your joking and was expecting the loudness of a glasspack muffler, it is louder, I have been in 2 bone stock P71's and its louder than those, not that much but its a difference you can tell.
It will depend on what you want. the way I got it. I went for the cheap. 2 new turbo mufflers were 30 bux, 2 18" magnaflow tips were 70 bux, install was around $350. so $450 for the set up.
I Bought this car on Feb 07 with a single exhaust, I switched it to duals 2 months later, I dont think its going to be a problem as long as you are using all 4 cats and dont have a loud muffler. I could be wrong, some one can please chime in on my reply.
When I got them at the time, I didnt want them too agressive. Drone in the car can be annoying in long highway drives. Plus I didnt want the sound police after my ass

They are 05+ Mustang GT wheels, they came off a 06 mustang that was at a the ford dealer.
They are a perfect fit for 03+ Crown vics, No spacers or mods needed, just bolt on and go.

When I got them at the time, I didnt want them too agressive. Drone in the car can be annoying in long highway drives. Plus I didnt want the sound police after my ass

Website just said "summit turbo muffler" They were pretty cheap too at $15 a piece.

I got it off of ebay. Just search for Mercury Marauder and there should be an auction for it. The guy I got it from no longer has an ebay account so I can't give a name. Its too bad though, cause it arrived painted and within a week.
