People who are complaining that these don't fly havnt' got them set up properly. I have 2 and they are great for the price. If you crash it it won't fly the same unless you fix it properly and reset all the trims and track the blades again. People buy these thinking they will be easy to fly because they are cheap but they are harder to fly than a much larger helicopter. These should be for mid to advanced pilots
i started with 1 of these , their harder to fly then align or other good brands .
if you can keep walkera up and flying for more then half a minute ,it is gonna be easy to fly a proper heli . yr ready to buy a better brand !! keep going!! regards
Hate to tell you guys this, but Realflight G3.5 is very accurate in it's reproduction of rc helicopter flight physics. The walkera 22E is a very twitchy, unstable helicopter that is far and away one of the most difficult rc helicopters to fly...
I couldn't agree more! Mine will barely take off, and when it's about 1 inch off the ground (which is an achievement in itself since it barely has enough power to take off!) it simply tilts sideways at a random direction until the blades touch the ground, regardless of how much corrective cyclic I apply.
The best helicopter I have is a little indoor 3-channel coaxial that weighs 18 grams total and that I can land on a coffee cup with difficulty. It's a much lower stress (aka fun) heli to fly!
the best sim for 22e is Pre-Flight walkera edition. models handle exactly like real life, not stable as in RealFlight G3.5 . I have few walkeras and all of them are exactly like Preflight less 5#4 that 1 is too stable
Oh My God, pissd myself laughin. really funny stuff here. I love it when i rotates on ground and then just dies on its side. Seriously, they wont take that much of a beating.
walkera sucks! read this over and over again. any heli from them is bound to be a piece of crap especially the walkera 52. And they are not wondefull helis.
I can fly the heli fine, but I let a friend of mine (who actually owns some of the parts cos he had his own heli too) have a go, and this is him flying it. Realflight is good, but the helis dont really handle the same as a 22E in my opinion.. they seem far too stable.
I crashed mines 10 minutes after i reieved my 22e :(
I did not even get a chance to get it off the ground... and you can believe I was swearing my head off when the rotors smacked the tail boom resulting in a bent and broken in half tail boom and snapped main frame. Walkera parts are cheap $24.00 in damages.
The heli is basically a write off now, so I'm going to combine the parts from it with the parts from another and make a working one. I'll get the aerobatics on video this time!

when ur learning to fly any heli..it;s best to remember to fly it as close to the ground as possible, until you've master the basic functions.

it might be better if you fly it a bit further away from the house and trees.... then it might not crash so much

Heli Abuse!!!! Go get yourself a RealFlight Simulator first or get a Coax heli. Then move to a fixed pitch heli, then go CP...

HAHA are you for real? Thats a hilarious video...
I crashed mine too, but every crash soon after consisted of many hours of repairs and ordering parts.

Your helicopter must be a tank or something :)
How much damage did you sustain?
