Well, this speech was a bit of a disappointment despite what the media said about it. I nearly fell asleep because she was speaking so incredibly slowly, and when she did manage to squeeze out a sentence--it all seemed like a big act... not genuine at all.
I've seen her speak in a small group of 150 people about 18 months ago, and she hasn't changed since then--constantly insulting the GOP and Bush while not offering any solutions (which is of course the entire point).

Elections 2008. The whole matter is instructive. Neither political party cared enough to seek out or to run persons who could best lead the nation, or that were best equipped. On the other hand each party chose rather to, by default, urge on a candidate who they felt could help to defeat the other side. If probity or love of country mattered, none of the current crop of candidates would seriously be considered! Instead, we would tell each party to go back and select again!

Well, this speech was a bit of a disappointment despite what the media said about it. I nearly fell asleep because she was speaking so incredibly slowly, and when she did manage to squeeze out a sentence--it all seemed like a big act... not genuine at all.
I've seen her speak in a small group of 150 people about 18 months ago, and she hasn't changed since then--constantly insulting the GOP and Bush while not offering any solutions (which is of course the entire point).

But I will say this - she got further than any woman before and that is something we should all celebrate and for which she deserves credit and respect. However if Hillary REALLY MEANT what she said in her speech, her unselfish act really made me a little more proud to be an American. If she was the Democratic Nominee and not Obama, best believe I would pick her any day over you know who.

Hillary Clinton was taking more money from lobbyists and special interests than every single candidate on the Republican side. Polls don't mean a damn thing. Polls can be manipulated, fucked with, what have you. Hillary is a great woman, but Barack is the better candidate, and you know it. please, get over it already. Hillary lost, and nothing will change that. Get over yourself and vote Obama, unless you want McCain, in which case get the fuck away!
