oh my goodness I miss Carol Duvall SO much. Like others have posted there isnt much in the way of crafting any more on HGTV or DIY Network. There is Creative Juice but the hosts are so sugary sweet they're tough to watch, especially at 4:30am which is when it is on here. I miss Carol's sincerity on tv. Period. So, Tim ... think you can start a crafting network soon?? :) I can produce some shows! Just kidding. A little.
Wow! What a sweet gift to all of us! A visit with Carol :) I have about 20 of her episodes on VCR tape that I taped whenever I was working and wanted to see something about scrapping or another subject that interested me. I was so surprised when I found out that she wasn't always national TV, but was coming out of a local station serving the northern Michigan area! I found that out when I had moved to Seattle, WA :D I loved Carol and so do miss her! Thanks for the memories

With reruns or internet, you'd think we could find a way to still enjoy her. I had video tapes of her shows, but they were destroyed by water damage...how upset I was! :( So this was wonderful that you shared this little slice of fun. I hope she is going to have another outlet where we can enjoy her again soon.

Miss Carol sooo much! Her & her show were awesome! Hope she's enjoying her retirement. Hgtv should at least give us reruns of craft shows instead of all these real estate shows. In this economy we need shows on how to make do with what we have.
Love, love, love Carol Duvall! I watched her show regularly, recorded it and watched it again. I have never found another like it and, oh, how I miss it. I was introduced to so many crafty persons and new techniques through her show - even new crafts! No one could ever take her place.
Surely in this day of craft mania, someone could make a show that you can guest on with others like Shari Carrol etc. Carol's wonderment at everything you do is absolutely gorgeous. Oh blast from the past.... I watched Carol EVERY chance I got and I MISS her terribly. I have a couple of episodes taped but sure wish I would have taped them all.
Great to see Carol again, I loved meeting her at CHA in Anaheim...it was the highlight of my week. I'll never forget watching her shows, they were the best!! Thanks so much for the flashback...I had to watch it twice.

I remember watching this when it was first broadcast! Man I miss Carol - many were the days when i watched the show with pen and paper in hand so i could write down instructions and ideas. Imagine if her show was back on, and I could just record on my DVR and pause if I needed!! Would be SO awesome to see you guys together on TV again.
Carol was my first "teacher" in the world of crafting watching her show daily. I treasure the segments I recorded, knowing I would go back and watch them time, and time again. The ones with you Tim, have always been my favorite. Carol, we miss you, thank you, and love you for everything you taught us. Every single time I cut anything I always hear Carol say, "You can't cut straight with a pair of scissors!" So I grab my paper trimmer and cut it straight, just like Carol taught me! :-) I would watch the show before I left for work and I learned so many tips and tricks that I still use today. This clip made me cry. I miss those mornings I would rush so I could dress in front of the TV to watch Carol before I went to work. I have the series of Christmas shows. Oh, Carol, I miss you so much! These special holiday shows were some of my favorites. My best friend & I would watch every episode, and then call each other to go over what we had learned. She taped every show and has an extensive library! Alas, we don't live in the same town now, so I don't get to re-watch whenever I want. I would LOVE it if they made your shows available online. Thanks for this fun video, Tim! I started papercrafting because of Carol Duvall. I had just quit smoking and was having trouble sleeping when I saw her show on HGTV early one morning. I was hooked because of a quilled crow on an Autumn layout! Years later, I still have episodes taped. I wish HGTV would bring her back. At least for the holidays....Miss you Carol!

I miss Carol Duvall's show. Way back when, HGTV was my favorite station because of her show. If you are reading this, Ms. Duvall...thank you, and in case you don't realize it, your adoring fans still miss you :) My most memorable show was the one where you travelled to the Albany NY area, and visited the local rubberstamping shop (Stamppassion). This video comes in a close second though, Tim....I love this technique.

Miss the Carol Duvall Show, especially the Holiday Workshops and the craft cruises. You introduced us to many wonderful artists, including Tim. Reruns sure would be wonderful! I have ceased watching HGTV. At one time I was up at 6 AM to watch Carol (and friends). Loved starting my day off with creative inspiration. Highlight of my life was appearing on a Holiday Workshop showing how to make beaded pens. I need to get out all those videotapes, find a working VCR and get reinspired creatively.

i had the pleasure of shaking carols hand 2 years ago. i almost cried when i met her. she autographed on of her books for me. you cannot meet a nicer person. she made crafters out of many of us back in the day. first with the HOME show and then with her own show. she is so missed in the crafting industry. you were on her show!!!! what an honor.

I remember watching this when it was first broadcast! Man I miss Carol - many were the days when i watched the show with pen and paper in hand so i could write down instructions and ideas. Imagine if her show was back on, and I could just record on my DVR and pause if I needed!! Would be SO awesome to see you guys together on TV again.

Carol was my first "teacher" in the world of crafting watching her show daily. I treasure the segments I recorded, knowing I would go back and watch them time, and time again. The ones with you Tim, have always been my favorite. Carol, we miss you, thank you, and love you for everything you taught us. Every single time I cut anything I always hear Carol say, "You can't cut straight with a pair of scissors!" So I grab my paper trimmer and cut it straight, just like Carol taught me! :-) I would watch the show before I left for work and I learned so many tips and tricks that I still use today. This clip made me cry. I miss those mornings I would rush so I could dress in front of the TV to watch Carol before I went to work. I have the series of Christmas shows. Oh, Carol, I miss you so much! These special holiday shows were some of my favorites. My best friend & I would watch every episode, and then call each other to go over what we had learned. She taped every show and has an extensive library! Alas, we don't live in the same town now, so I don't get to re-watch whenever I want. I would LOVE it if they made your shows available online. Thanks for this fun video, Tim! I started papercrafting because of Carol Duvall. I had just quit smoking and was having trouble sleeping when I saw her show on HGTV early one morning. I was hooked because of a quilled crow on an Autumn layout! Years later, I still have episodes taped. I wish HGTV would bring her back. At least for the holidays....Miss you Carol!

I miss Carol Duvall's show. Way back when, HGTV was my favorite station because of her show. If you are reading this, Ms. Duvall...thank you, and in case you don't realize it, your adoring fans still miss you :) My most memorable show was the one where you travelled to the Albany NY area, and visited the local rubberstamping shop (Stamppassion). This video comes in a close second though, Tim....I love this technique.

How I miss your Christmas Workshops, Carol! My granddaughter and I would sit in front of the tv to see the wonderful crafts you and your guests came up with and then we would try to recreate them on our own. Miss the Carol Duvall Show, especially the Holiday Workshops and the craft cruises. You introduced us to many wonderful artists, including Tim. Reruns sure would be wonderful! I have ceased watching HGTV. At one time I was up at 6 AM to watch Carol (and friends). Loved starting my day off with creative inspiration. Highlight of my life was appearing on a Holiday Workshop showing how to make beaded pens. I need to get out all those videotapes, find a working VCR and get reinspired creatively.

Hi Carol! It has been so nice having U come into my home and visit again. I do so miss U stopping by. I hope U know how much joy U brought to so many people. I miss Carol....she is the reason I started crafting and I would wake up real early to watch her show! I also loved Crafters Coast to Coast, those were the good days ;)

I loved her shows. I used to tape them on VHS and watch them over and over. Tim, I would get excited whenever I knew you were a guest because I knew you always had the most amazingly creative ideas to share.

Oh my gosh!!! I loved her. I use to watch her on the Home Show on ABC (at least I think that was the title and channel). I didn't realize she had a show HGTV. I'm sorry I missed it.
