My favorite album will always be Revolutions, and second always be Siren Song. I didn't much care for all on their new album, but there were some songs I thought were okay.
in my opinion sufferer and the witness was one of the best of their albums, it had so much energy,as all of their music and all of their albums are great. ive listened to every song on the new album several times( even the british releases) and i think its still amazing. their style changes in every album and i think they still sound just as good as they have in the past. not AS intense but it still has their revolutionary sense to it.

alright, lets go with three of the songs i can't stand the most. first one is ready to fall which oddly enough is their "single." the music for this song sounds completely slowed down and almost like they forgot how to kick some asses. the lyrics are kind of bland, not really intense or intresting, more on the lines of emo in my opinion and his scream is pretty drowned compared to a song like blood red white and blue. all in all it's a pretty pathetic sounding song.
second one is gonna be the approaching curve. when i first started listening to it and i thought it was kind of cool that they were doing a spoken word thing in the intro since it was something a little new. but then we get to the chrous. and i find out they just repeat the whole thing over and over again with speaking a few words, then playing the chorus which is really weak. the chorus isn't even that well done and the music for this song just sounds like they didn't really want to try.

i dkn how people say it's any good. personally there are maybe about two or three songs that are tolerable but that's about it. i think rise against might just be one of those bands that hit their peek too early to continue. although it could be their new label since rhino sucks. rhino would only permit songs to "their" standards and won't allow full creative ability. that could be a big reason why it turned out the way it did.

Savior's better than HoW. Probably my favorite on the album. Doesn't have the intensity of SotU, but it's still a nice song, IMO.

also i wasn't attacking you. you're completely riding rise against's dick with your whole "rise agianst is fuckin amazing OMGZ!!!LALWSZ!" shit. second you seem to not know dick about hardcore because rise against actually stole one of their logos for their shirt and poster from a HxC band from conneticuit that parted a couple years back. just cause i don't list what bands or w/e i listen to doesn't mean shit. it means i like to keep the good bands out of ears reach of some jackoffs.

i choose the bands i listen to based on musical talent, lyrics, sound, and presence. just because tehy stole a band's logo doesn't mean shit. now Rise Against is talented but it doesn't shine through as much on S&W and their new album. it's like barely skimming the surface music wise and lyric wise it's like they weren't even trying. it's nothing like their old stuff which was a lot better. i mean if it sounded better and still kept that inspirational message it would've been a lot better.

okay, roadside=emo. 1. it is slowed down to less than a crawl. 2. "Tell me what I'm supposed to do,With all these left over feelings of you;'Cause I don't know" very gay begining lyrics. emo as all hell. the whole song is btiching and complaining. read the damn lyrics yourself. i'm sure you can figure out how it's emo by his endless bitching about shit gone wrong. 3. rise against should NEVER do a slow song. it's just all bad. nothing remotley good about it. no inspirational lyrics, nothing.

acutally i am somewhat a musician, i am in a band, but i would never write a song like roadside because not only is the music bad, the lyrics are just really depressing which i don't like. it just sounds like a bunch of complaining. im more of a person of action than complaining, and i don't like it in my music either. btw i'll see if i can find a link to show you the band logo thing.

After reading through countless ridiculous posts of yours it sounds like you dont have any good reason to hate their newer music. Also, you said you haven't even listened to all of AtR, so who are you to judge? I've listened to every RA song multiple times, and I believe some of their best work is on AtR and SatW. You seem to just dismiss their songs as garbage after one listen, but many people need to hear a song multiple times to like it. I've never truly loved an RA song after hearing it once

are you kidding me? i've given plenty of reasons. i've listened to about 5 of the songs of of their newest one and i tried them each at least twice. it didn't click, if anything his scream got weaker with the newest one. play that one so called "single" and match it up to something like blood red white and blue, his voice just sounds like it gave up. he got really poppy sounding (which i don't like). i gave S&W 6 fucking full listens through. i honestly really tried to like it but it was bad.

Honestly I don't like their new songs as much as their old ones. BUT its not because they totally sold themselves out (as some people believe) In an interview Tim said that he tried to mimic old songs. Like one of his songs was supposed to mimic a 90's or 80's song. However, the songs still have the same great meaning so i still listen to em

i dkn how people say it's any good. personally there are maybe about two or three songs that are tolerable but that's about it. i think rise against might just be one of those bands that hit their peek too early to continue. although it could be their new label since rhino sucks. rhino would only permit songs to "their" standards and won't allow full creative ability. that could be a big reason why it turned out the way it did.

sufferer and the witnesses was supposed to come out on rhino but they made it with geffen before they had the chance. they are now (as far as i know) on rhino records or at least were for an assorted amount of time after or when sufferer and the witnesses came out. if you're gonna act like you know some shit actually try researching the band. btw for the 40 billionth time sufferer and the witnesses sucks assholes. actually try and listen to some real fucking music.

It didn't come out on Rhino though. The Sufferer & The Witness is a great album. Your not saying anything bad about it you just saying it sucks, be specific if you want others to agree with you.

i just fucking said it didn't come out on rhino. do you actually read these postings? if i had to say everything and list every reason why it's a bad album i would have to post about 13-15 of these things and i really don't think it's worth it. if you still seriously want me to list all these reasons at least tell me you're going to read the whole thing.

There weren't any songs on sufferer and the witness I didn't like and most people seem to think it's their best album. I don't see how any rise against fan could not like sufferer.
