Why do we start completely over to the point we have to go to school and again?

I have had the flying dreams many times over the years and they were fantastic! The other repeating dreams that I have regard not being able to reach my destination. For example; I am running through a submarine and the passageway and the hatches become smaller and smaller to the point I can not pass through them. The other dream regards traveling across town t o get something but then the way back changes so that I can not find how to get back! These past two dreams are frustrating!

Add to that the idea that we are not even our complete selves until after we leave this plane making our decisions from a higher order as opposed to from our carnal existence. Then add again those moments when we actually LOVE being here ( I am sure that has happened to everyone more then once) and its hard not to make return visits. Plus the bonus that you learn quicker down here. Think from OUTSIDE the fish bowl for a better understanding!

Honestly now! Who would choose this life!? How many children have to be abused, raped, and killed before 'whatever' learns its lesson? It makes no sense whatsoever. The human imagination is fully able to construct these dreams, visions, and experiences. LSD, DMT, certain types of brain/mind system malfunction are also able to trigger incredible creative dreams, visions, and hallucinations that do not require time travel or past lives for content.

Why not? You could reincarnate as soemone with tons of messed uup crap int heir lives and it could be a way to learn a point of view in that body. Does not alwayys mean you got to learn a hard core lesson, but someone's view. A way of understanding another.

Then why would suffering and misery exist? It's to show the difference between the good times and the bad.

Exposure to some real suffering and misery may change your appreciation for it. It is over-rated. Like placing your hand on a hot stove, it doesn't require repeated applications to comprehend the nuance of pain or of truth and consequence. It just seems so unreasonable to me, knowing what I know, having experienced what I have experienced, to think that I or anyone else faced with a choice, would choose the types of human suffering that exists. It is illogical and impractical.

It's a function of the natural consequences of being conscious temporary creatures in that it is a part of the survival mechanism. It motivates us to action of some sort. We can overcome suffering and misery for the most part, through knowledge and understanding.

I don't know about you but everyone I know has experienced enough of both receiving and dishing out suffering and misery in far less than a complete lifetime much less requiring multiple lifetimes. Reincarnation seems to presume some colossal inherent stupidity that I just don't see in human beings. Those who don't "get it" have major physical, mental, and/or emotional defects of some kind that either retard or outright prevent the correct healthy operation of their minds.

On one hand I agree, as human beings, we tend to dish out and receive more suffering than perhaps we deserve - If infact we "deserve" it at all. On the other hand, and complimentary to this fact, these harsh words and violent acts we commit are due to a fundamental ignorance that there are consequences to our actions. Some of these forms of anger/hostility/misunderstandi­ng are very obvious, such as domestic violence and warfare. Others are more subtle, such as intellectual debates.

The fact that you don't see your inherent ignorance of how the world really IS as opposed to what it appears is all part of that very delusion, that colossal stupidity as you call it.

The issue of future lives and time is pretty confusing. Once in the spirit world, why do souls choose to inhabit bodies only from the future? If there is no chronological sense of time in the spirit world, there should be no problem for a soul to choose a body at any time point on Earth, meaning after we die in this century, our soul could inhabit a body from the previous century, or any century. This is where this whole theory collapses, or at least is not understood enough.

I mean what kind of jerk would choose a body of a blind man ? Is it because he has done something very terrible in the pasts life and now he has to pay for it ?

Generally a body is chosen because of the lessons that it will allow you to learn. The idea is that the disability may somehow aid you in accomplishing your task. If someone has done something bad in a previous life, they will usually choose a life as a victim as a means of understanding their misdeed in previous lives, but as far as I know, its usually not related handicaps.

from, my understanding few things can happen in suicide situation; the most common is that the soul is very confused at time of death (quick death)and will not know he/she is dead so stick around between both worlds thinking they're still living... (haunted houses, etc..) upon undertanding of their death they will move on to spirit world.
