  • What are they saying?

  • I think he is watching how to react from people of whom he brutally oppressed during his powerful period. This is kind of test on the how people response to his cruel action against people. Now he saw that how people are nice to him even he committed a lot of criminal action against people.

  • He is not good person.

  • What ever he say i don't like him.

  • I am sure there are mix feeling or not like him at all if u r from 88 generation. However.. luckily I was too young to remember 88! The thing is Burma have many generals and I m confident to say he was the best. He did what he had to do 2gain powerful and earn his respect by right ways or wrong ways but he did sure gain popularity! He was the only one who really want to see the unity of the country within the military gov and that why Obviously.. he is best out of worst since he got arrested!!!

  • well... he said he believes in Kama, so what goes around comes around to him.

  • man...how can he be the head of MI if he cant even speak english to a decent level?

  • this fking guy is the reason of all that happens in the past..

and this guy is fking racist

  • he said the new comers have better knowledge n blah blah.. but his expression told us that nothing beats the experience.

  • khin nyunt...! kin nyut...! You Are now like common people and power less...

  • @burmeseloyal What the fuck do YOU know? This guy killed thousands of people and you want 1GWin to be "respectful" to him? You're fucking stupidz

  • @maxizabaIur What the fuck are you talking about? "patriotic morale"? What progress did we see while he was in the military? If I recall correctly, our country deminished at a steady rate. Don't be fucking blind to what he did in the past just because now he dresses in a civilian attire and talking an awful lot about the "good of the country"

  • I am very happy the scene of General Khin Nyunt and his sons release. I support on his words and welcome his comment on our nation. I wish all General Khin Nyunt and his family members well in health, happy and prosperous in future. I respect and salute him. His words reflect the real changes of Myanmar. Congratulate to General Khin Nyunt for your patriotic morale on our country. I hope you may serve more for our country.

  • This guy got locked up and just came out and yet he still believed in and proudly promoting his 7-step roadmap to democracy. It took 13 long years to finish the 1st step. Bullshit!

  • It seems there is still a dark side of him to which it is difficult for one to encode from his interview. To me he is a master of dark spin. Of course, military junta lead by Saw Maung repeatedly admitted that they were not in it to do politics. It worth establishing:

  • @4:38 he finally understand

  • How innocent and respectful religious he is now .. whatever they all should face to high court for their property and the way that what they were doing to innocent politician when he was powerful. It is not over for his mistake just like release from prison and freedom ..

  • fuck off, 1GWin (youtube user id), you shit dont have standard to criticize our country respectful former leader. Fuck you. 1GWin

  • Can i get a top comment without reason?

  • why ?many people intrest this new,how is your opnion?i think???????

  • I remember his speech made in one of our uni in Ygn in 1990, expressing so much bitterness in 'that woman' referring to our lady, Daw Su and openly expressed so much of his hatred in 'western countries' .... has he "learned" something whilst incarceration or just playing dumb!

  • welcome back.............if my grandfather still alive, he must be really happy.....

  • @1534pinky who is your grandfather? and what would he be happy?

  • Khin Nyunt will fxxx back Than Shew.

  • Your authorities-days is over but the time is up to do for the people of Myanmar. If you don't mind, you should be with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. I personally suppose that she has forever-trust of the people of Myanmar and he ( Gen. Khin Nyunt) also has the trust of people. If the two powerful man and woman will cooperate for Myanmar, there is no need to say what the future of Myanmar and its people will be.

  • As we are human beings, there is no one in this world who are pure and perfect and so among others, he tried Myanmar to be well known in Southeast Asia and even in the world. He might do some naughty things but it is so tiny if we looked overview upon all that he'd done for the people. So Yesterday January 13th is the great day of the New Year. We should welcome him and his family to do the best of theirs for themselves and if possible for the people of Myanmar.

  • I am very pleasant to hear that. Yesterday night, I heard this news and I feel the great happiness to know that. He, General Khin Nyunt is one of my admire most person, I suggest he also is one of the two General of Myanmar who served for the Myanmar people. The great one is General Aung San and the other is General Khin Nyunt.

  • I am very glad to see this video clip. I know you are the only one who knows politics and negotiation in myanmar military. You did many good things for the country. You are one of my respectable leader. WELCOME BACK. Thanks a lot DVB for posting this video. It makes my day. Cheers!

  • @nangshwewothmoun75 If you haven't follow Burmese politics, you might think Khin Nyunt is a good guy. He is far from being a good guy. Like you see in this interview, he is a very savvy person. He portrayed himself as a good guy both to the Burmese public and international community. The truth is he spearheaded the crackdown in 1988 and masterminded the arrest and torture of many political activists. He is a two faced person who deceive many people.

  • He's the only one with the real brain in the military. Which way he wants to use it is up to him.

  • Khin Nyunt is a very skilled politician. He can hide his true feeling well and says what most people want to hear. His actions against the opposition when he had power speak louder than his rhetorics.

  • Don't act like u're innocent now. That's pissing me off!

  • He is such a faggot, who is involved in killing students, civilians and so many monks of Myanmar ppl. He has no shame and dignity, he is such a lier and will go straight to hell soon.

  • I also am intrigued by the lady in the background!!!! He might have lost a bit his ability to speak English....

  • @pierresbolduc He (Khin Nyunt) never knew how to speak proper English as he never had any formal education. He pretty much got through a military camp and later became a career soldier.

  • it's still early to release him...there are still political prisoners who have been serving decades of sentence that he ordered when he was powerful

btw, more interesting the chick standing far behind them alone .....

  • looks like he had been brainwashed

  • @jitjit009 no, he is a politician. He will say one thing but think another.

  • He looks embarrassed to speak English! I want to hear his English more. Ask him more in English!

  • I Like his son. His face looks really confident and hard to guess what's he thinking,......

  • @seanspilner0202 It's not confidence. He was having evil thoughts.

  • @schchen2000 I figured since U Khin Nyunt says "we're trained by army and it's very good". But what I mean is he looks confidence for whatever he's gonna do, good or evil doesn't matter,.....

  • Min Ga La Bar ABA..he..he..R u expected 2day Released??...HOW do u think of PoLiTiCal Changes..?? very GoOd..VeRy GoOD....very FUNNY...HA..HA..HA..haaa..

  • In my opinion, he will definitely come to involve in politics! Just National Politics..Not Power Politics. :-) Think about why KNU signed the initial peace contract !

  • Although he tried to sound noble and religious, he used to be one of those wicked thugs. Though he talked about how religious he had become during his detention, he lied when asked whether anyone in the military came to him for any political advice. He did not know there was his video floating around on the internet when the military came to his house to pick him up to ask him some of his political advice. I was surprised how this guy even became the head of the military intelligence.

  • @zawlinmoe yes he did..but that profit is only for our country(Myanmar) and i duuno why u're saying like this for??

  • @victorphonepyae profit only for our country? Are you joking? What did he do for our country? He is no better than Than Shwe or Maung Aye.

  • Yeah. He was as much a part of '88 as anyone and made big profits when he was S1. I don't see why people should be so pleased he was released.

  • Why he only like to have a democracy and freedoms now??? Burmese people needs it long time ago, he had power and he didn't do any for that, no tear for him...looks like he is going to do the mega business rather than politic...:)....he must pay back for his country...

  • what a patriot :\ ha!

  • His son will continue to do politic. I heard you old friend. :P

  • Don't know why my tear fall down from my face when seeing him.
