  • Thank you so much!! How about organic sugar?! It's not really refined... right?

  • Great video , have you ever read this book? "John Yudkin - Pure, White and Deadly"

  • what about brown stevia, or sugar in the raw, or honey? is that bad??

  • Very informational! Been Sugar-free for 2 weeks and I feel fantastic already :-)

  • what do you think about maple syrup?? I thought agave came from a cactus or some type of plant ?

  • Hi i need a quick question for you im 15 years old and i have two questions for you is sugar bad for your skin, and is sweat also bad for your skin to?

  • Sugar is sugar regardless of were it comes from. And the only difference between fruit and a candy bar is that fruit has vitamins and nutrients in it and a snickers bar doesn't. Fruits feeds mold, yeast, & fungus in the blood system and then all 3 of those bacterias defaecate off the sugar. So you want to mirror a alkaline lifestyle and limit your sugar intake and eat lots of leafy Cancer loves sugar. Have facts before you start giving out information "Ms. dead carcass eater".

  • what do you think of evaporated organic cane juice?

  • Artificial Sweeteners make you CRAZY!

  • ..what about Stevia? I am off all sugars (including honey), limit my fruits, but do use loads of Stevia during winter time in my fresh ginger tea....

  • Can you eat Ketchup? I was wondering because it contains like 2 % Sugar

  • @PeppyTuber I'm pretty sure ketchup's not good for your body. I was eating healthy for a while and one day I added ketchup on my food and I totally didn't good after... and it was organic ketchup!!

  • fruit also has tons of minerals compared to alcohol and fruit fills you up much more so eating too much fruit compared to too much alcohol is much more difficult!

  • you dont know what u r talking about...SUGAR IS SUGAR

TOO much of it is no good and that goes for fruit, just because fruit is natural that does not make it ok to eat tons of it....

too much fruits give you a FATTY LIVER which is the same conditions that alcoholics get. alcohol is a sugar processed in the liver, like fruits... therefore too much fruit can destroy your liver and make you sick...

  • the middle of the week is thursday

  • Sorry but Fruit sugar is NOT just sugar, no matter what. Eating 2 apples is not the same as eating a candy bar.

  • Sugar from fruit are ok in moderation because they contain sugar and sugar is sugar no matter what, if not why diabetics can't eat them? so careful sugar is sugar.

  • there is sugar in everything...so its kinda futile to try and stop completely... no offence but sugar is perfectly fine in moderation.

  • I like that you suggested a book to read...I always like to know about helpful literature to help educate myself on foods in general and to get motivation to further stay away from the bad stuff. Other book recommendations would be great too! I enjoy your videos also! I'm trying so hard to maintain a whole foods regimine at this point and cut out the sugar...just fell off the wagon today and got an ice cream! I have yet to get over that hump to where my cravings go away...grr!

  • am stopping using processed sugar entirly though have a sweet tooth-

I enjoy honey very much .

my question is how do I know the honey is unprocessed/raw as much of it s heated and spun etc. please help.

is buying organic enough here ?

    thank

  • What about raw vegan organic sugar? Or, black strap molasses?

  • sugar is white death

  • Sugar : Can Cause anxiety,Can cause Obesity, robs you of Protien

    obsorbtion............

  • i was gonna buy some frosted flakes today..............

  • what do you think of "Stevia"? I heard it's very alkaline, so I am looking into swapping my refined sugar for Stevia.. although it seems to be hard to track down in shops here (england)

    thanks

  • @SteveFusionX you had any luck tracking down stevia yet ...am having same troubles

  • @VonLeachim

apparantly shops are banned from selling it here. I think it's due to the fact it would put the aspartmine companies out of business.

  • @SteveFusionX

hmm another plant banned . how bizzare!

    thanks for the info.

  • @VonLeachim

Yes, I think there are sinister reasons behind it (related to NWO!)

Have you seen a film called "Invisible Empire"? you can watch it here on YouTube

  • Comment removed

  • @SteveFusionX .. just found some : google 'raw food shop' there are a few who sell it , dried but still...

  • @VonLeachim

in england?! I went to several independant health food shops and they all told me the same story: that the government banned the sale of it here.

  • @SteveFusionX it's priced in £. never ordered there myself so maybe someone else can chme in but they have it for sale ...

google: raw food shop stevia . first hit .

  • fruits are a mixed bag, watermelon is all sugar water but apple is only 5 gram sugar and lots of good stuff.

  • tru dazt

  • How long will it take for you to get off sugar and be completely off??? Today was my first day of not eating sugar and I started getting sick to my stomach. Is that normal??? I was just wondering how many days will it take for your body not wanting sugar.

  • I am going off of sugar too. I find it easier if I drink lots and lots of water. Really helps those cravings, so does exercise. Now I only crave during times of emotional stress. That is my weak spot! Working on it though. ;D

  • @mysterywoman09 Have you finally come off the sugar then?

  • Here I was thinkin' I did good when I bought a package of "organic" evaporated cane juice sugar but I suppose that's almost as bad as regular refined. Guess I'll have to switch to honey.

  • So you are anti-sugar (which is logical) but pro juice? What is the rationalization behind that? Juice is crap. It's little different than drinking soda unless, of course, you are juicing things like celery that have almost little sugar content.

  • It's true that store bought juice is basically as bad as soda. But freshly home made juice is a lot different from that since the nutrient content is high still.

I personally don't drink pure fruit juices on a regular basis though. I do use apples and lemons in my veggie juices to make them taste better and up the calorie content. I prefer just eating fruit, or making smoothies out of them.

  • Go diabetes

  • Wow! thanx u a lot for the helpful episode!!

  • hi again i am not sure what you mean.i was asking can you drink smoothies while on a juice feast, because im really thinking about joining you ten day feast starting in about two days. thank you in advance

  • Its better to have juices, but if you feel more comfortable having smoothies that is fine. The juices remove the fiber so its a deeper cleanse, but being on a liquid diet (like smoothies) is still cleansing and giving your body a break and detox. Everyone else will be on juices, but you can have smoothies and you are welcome to join the group.

  • can you drink green smoothies on a juice feast

  • Sure if you like, whatever works for you!!

  • thanks for your reply, can you get the same benfits.

  • You would get more benefits from the juice, but still, you will notice major benefits just from being on smoothies and liquids.

  • Wonderful, than you, I appreciate that!

  • when was the last time aspartame was put off the shelf?

  • FDA has been back and forth about safety of Nutra Sweet and as for Saccharine, its taken off of the shelves in Asia--I believe specifically in the Philippines, and Mexico is trying as well.

  • I looked up the book, it sounds awesome! I'm getting it and kicking my habit! :D

  • Fantastic!! When I go off sugar, I felt like I got my life back.

  • SWEET

  • Fabulous!!

  • My top tip would be drink alot of water, and second skip the sugar.

  • Awesome!

  • thank you for clarifying this for us, that fruits should NOT be included in "sugar"...

i decided to eliminate sugar for a time being and include a green juice daily =)

  • YES!! Go with the green juice-- makes such a difference!

  • ASPARTAME = DEATH.

I love your videos, Flower. I either learn something

new, or you confirm all the new things I've learned.

    <3

  • Wonderful, thank you!!

  • Damn! You are super SMART!:o)

  • lol :)

  • You're one of my favorites! :-)

  • Thank You!!!! I appreciate that!!:)

  • what about organic evaporated cane juice is that as bad? or is it ok

  • No, not good, its still refined sugar.

Real sugar cane juice is fantastic-- but thats freshly juicing the cane and drinking the actual juice, but the evaporated stuff- thats as bad as table sugar

  • So since I'm trying to get off of sugar but I also like to bake - what should I use as a substitute?

  • Lose the oven and get into the raw desserts, you'll never turn back!!!

  • ~*sugar be my nemesis!! i mix unpasturized honey with macadamia nut butter and pretend that its raw cookie dough!! omg~*i'm a sugar slut ...sigh...

  • Oh YUM!!! I'm down with Tahini & Honey, never tried it with Mac Butter-- thats decadent!!! :)
