  • happy 100th anniversary to the titanic

  • ohh i get Britannic sank titanic sank and olympic crashed into a ship... hmm shouldve kept it as the strongest ship in the world of 1912-1935

  • if Olympic was scrapped march 1912 at admiralty court hearing and so called titanic sank April 1912 which ship almost ran aground 7 weeks after one of them sank at lands end uk information about lands end incident kept from public for 75yrs

  • did the olympic sink too!? :O

  • @derangedslayer1 no, but it did have a very successful careeras first a passanger, then a transportation/hospital liner, and if im not mistaken it was later decommisioned and sold for scrap, in which the restuant was or is in the origninal Queen Mary

  • @stampede122 okey nice :)

  • @derangedslayer1 no scrapped for steel for ww2

  • @motorguzzi100 okey:)

  • I'd say the resources to build a replica titanic could be much better spent elsewhere. It is a very costly move to build a liner in the first place. The only way to make it worth the cost is to actually use it as a liner. And there are far bigger and more luxurious ships out there now.

Having said that, I would love it if there was a museum out there that suitably captured the feel of being aboard her.

  • @pscott90 cost of a ship like this 400 million pounds better used for cancer research kind regards

  • Comment removed

  • @man12345mn I agree with you. the 3 sisters needs to be brought home.

  • Non vous ette les cochons, les cockseifers, Idiotes

  • if i had the money i wld rebuild it:) it makes me made tht the a beatitful ship wont be rebuilt.

  • i hope they do make a nu 1

  • She's a icon of a bygone age, the epitome of British maritime supremecy from the days when Britain ruled the waves, those days a long gone. She's also the resting place for over a 1000 souls, its time to say goodbye and leave her and them in peace.

  • Titanic will not be ever exactly rebuilt, because the design of the hull will not pass the current safety laws. The only way for it to be exactly rebuilt is if it is never allowed onto the watr.

  • Christ almighty!

IT SANK, PEOPLE DIED, LET IT LIE. How insulting would that be if a Titanic II was built?

You dont hear people saying " lets do world war 2 again"

  • @mitsucanter247365 Titanic II would honour Titanic, how would WWIII honour WWII. What rediculous statement to make.

  • @tanqueraygin totally different you plum.

People died on the titanic, its never going to be raised as its a grave, its bad luck to name another ship after a lost ship. Stop typing nonsecal bull shit and hoping, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Open your eyes and grasp reality.

  • @mitsucanter247365 i agree it is bad luck to name another ship titanic they should show respect and stop visiting it now its sacriligious to steal from a grave yet they are earning money from what they bring up from it i apologise for my spelling

  • @mitsucanter247365 perhaps we should re do WWII. Thats a disgusting statement. Just like how you believe titanic is still a grave. Your a typical internet troll. You come across a popular topic, you take over any discussions, and you try to put down anything you considor wrong while you troll your youtube inbox for replys. this is disgusting get a life buddy.

  • @tanqueraygin what a disgusting statement to say that they should raise or rebuild the titanic. people died on it, it is and allways will be a grave, there would be remains of bodies down there, personal effects, so yes, its a grave.

  • @tanqueraygin and as for trolling, I like to help delusional people see the light.

  • @mitsucanter247365 funny i havn't even paid attention to this convo for months and a troll comes along and digs it up. And get over that bullshit grave crap im so sick of hearing people say that about Titanic. How do you think the artifact exibits exsist through magic? I fully support RMS TITANIC INC in their salvaging efforts because they legally own the wreck. its been a 100 years get over it and yourself.

  • @tanqueraygin I havent paid attention for a while either, ive been rather busy, but any how, they bring artifacts up from the wreck, thats fine, I dont believe in magic and its a little piece of history but for raising it or rebuilding it, come on, get a life. As for graves, once a place is considered a grave, it is always a grave, if you think its ok to desicrate it then you should be ashamed to consider your self a human being.

  • @mitsucanter247365 How bout you Facebook search Titanic:Salvaging & Preserving A Legend, it's my page, I created it. Then after you view it you can truly feel like the jackass you are turning out to be like. I don't have to prove shit to you on what my morals are, but if I did I know my page would prove they're higher than yours.

  • @tanqueraygin Thats different, salvage and preservation of one of our greatest maritime disasters is one thing, you want to rebuild it and live a delusional life, you may aswell go and p**s on every victims family who died on the titanic. She sank, people died, let it go, yes we salvage items of interest, reminders of a bygone time, but what you want is sacrilige.

Seeing as you havent replied for 2 weeks, im assuming you made the facebook page in that time. I may sign up to slate it.

  • @mitsucanter247365 I made the page on Febuary 7th 2012 and ive never stated i wanted to rebuild it ever you fucking whack job do you know how much bad press you would get if you ever even tried to. ITS LIKE TALKING TO A BRICK WALL WITH YOU! go ahead and attempt to say shit about my page im the admin so I can control it all. All it will do if you see my page is prove my standing and feelings on Titanic. Im getting really tired of your childish bullshit making nothing into something. fuck off now

  • @tanqueraygin Firstly, you need to sign off, and go and get some fresh air, your not talking to me, your typing. Ok, you didnt say you wanted to rebuild it, but you butted in when I replied to the "whack jobs" here that want it to be rebuilt pining and clearly delusional. I couldnt give 2 f*cks about your hopeless facebook page, You go ahead and control it. Lets give each other peace because clearly you like to be in control and have the last word, so we will agree to disagree.

  • No clearly you didn't give two seconds to think before you decided to argue with someone over a topic you clearly havn't spent even remotly close to the same amount of time on. No shit im typing btw.HAHAHA Hopeless facebook page? Titanic: Salvaging & Preserving A Legend if you did look it up, you'd realise how many hours i actually pour into this subject instead of yourself who trolls youtube to bitch at ppl. I don't care about last word, but I won't allow trolls to bully me.

  • @tanqueraygin Who said anything about WW3? I stated that if the titanic is considered to be rebuilt, perhaps we should re do WW2.

  • @mitsucanter247365 if not on water in a dock with the interior with the names of those lost a memorial everyone could visit with a book for people to sign

  • @ajs3939 There is memorials for people to see, on in Belfast, Liverpool, New York, Southanmpton and Washington DC, as well as a memorial for Ida Strauss, in Strauss Park in New York.

Theres memorials and exhibitions at museums already containing bits and pieces of what you ask for. Why is another needed? People died, it was a disaster, and yes its approaching the 100th anniversary, so lets remember the bead with some dignity and not some fantasy.

  • @mitsucanter247365 I agree. All these people that say "RAISE IT" and "BUILD IT AGAIN" need to return to the real world. It would cost millions of dollars to build and operate a ship that would be nothing like the original anyways. And whats the point of spending millions to build a museum ship when you can build and decorate a building for a fraction the cost.

Spend those millions on Cancer research. It would be a better investment.

  • What I think is great about the Titanic sinking is that if she did not just like any ship it would of eventually of been scrapped and deconstructed for other ships so in a way the sinking has had an upside don’t you think

  • dont think so.

  • @sanderrodijk don't think so neither, but i hope so :)

  • noone in the world really wants it done there all afraid and just talk about btw the olympic was the only one of the 4 sister ships that was the first build and the last to get scrapped that right scrapped never being sank by toropedos or icebergs nore explodtions

  • well if u saw the movie titanic they kinda buildl the ship 95% of it! and if would only cost 400 million to rebuild titanic for real with all the people out there who loved titanic just sent a dollar in im sure it could have already been build i mean the movie titanic made over 1 billion and only cost 200 million to make james cam could have used 400 million of that to build titanic for real but

  • Song?

  • I said this in another peson my mind id be a little disturbed to see a ship that over 1500 people died on and just havea big party nahh not my cup of tea.

  • Are they building another one?

  • rebuild it they are starting to rebuilding ships evrywhere in the world i woot freak out if i see the titanic flote by hahaha o no not iggaine\ i wish its rebuild it together we can do it butr some one need to start whit the rebuild i try to begin u wil help me ??

  • good quality xd

  • is this really a show, are they seriously building a titanic replica, cause that would be awesome, even if it didn't sail, it could be like a museum with all the titanic memorabilia from the titanic expo or whatever its called and if they built one that actually sailed, cosmetically it should look just like titanic but equipped with todays technology, cruise fun and safety regulations and perhaps call it rms titan instead of titanic, idk, just a thought

  • @lovelydiva06 Definitely today's safety regulations, possibly a bigger generator for power to run power outlets in the ship if people need to charge their mobile phones, computers etc, and the inside should look like the Titanic. As for the engines, rebuild the triple expansion engines and run them again (if possible).

  • @er10b Titanic have generators around 1MW. It's enough power for more than 1000 people in industrial country.

  • SO SAD :-( :-(

  • 2:18, the WTC, i must cry! :'-(

  • Comment removed

  • I'm glad it sank. We wouldn't know about the ship if it didn't, and so many people have made billions of dollars out of the story. It's actually pretty great that it sank.

  • @Zebonka saying your glad it sank, is like saying your glad about 1500 lives lost, it comes off a bit harsh and unsympathetic

  • You might feel that way, but ultimately it's just one of those things that had to happen for history to turn out the way that it did. Besides which, if they'd all survived, they'd still all be dead right now.

  • Titanic II & Twin Towers II...seems very awesome but for the towers i bet that terrorists will bomb them again..sure lets hope it dosent happen and fuck freedom tower..i perfer that the twin towers get rebuilt, nothing can replace them

  • requiest caden pace (rest in peace) to all that died on that fate full day :(

  • TITANIC IS BETTER THAN AVATAR. THAT IS A FACT. HOWEVER, AVATAR HAS MADE $940 MILLION MORE THAN TITANIC. WE HAVE THE CHANCE TO CHANGE THIS. TITANIC IS BEING RE-RELEASED INTO CINEMAS IN 3D NEXT YEAR TO CELEBRATE THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SINKING OF TITANIC. IF EVERYONE GOES TO SEE IT, THEN TITANIC WILL RECLAIM IT'S CORRECT POSITION AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FILM OF ALL TIME. TELL ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO GET OUT AND GO TO SEE IT. ALSO, PLEASE SPREAD THIS MESSAGE.

  • Lets rebuild Titanic and sink it again and let Bear Grylls show us how to escape and survive a disaster like it. I reckon it would make a wonderful TV show.

  • I don't like the iceberg.

  • why rebuild something that has taken alot of lives? How stupid can you be to think they will rebuild any part of the sister ships!!!!!!!

  • wat is the title of the song?

  • why did u sank Titanic!WHY? There were 50 Bulgarians onboard of Titanic!

  • My Great Great Grand Parents were on the TITANIC.... Thomas and Hannah O'Brian

  • @tenor175 really?

  • ...I would like to see Titanic 2 the Film remade...this time missing that Iceburg and safely arriving at New York...i don't suppose it would have quite the same dramatic element...unless you had a Circus onboard of course....

  • thumbs up if you think that they actually will rebuilt the titanic

  • @littelG333 In 2000 there was 1 businessmen from Africa that wanted to build replica of Titanic from the original drawings. Like original Titanic, replica would be built at the shipyard Harland & Wolff in Belfast, but in 2006 the Replica Titanic project was scrapped due to high costs and a low amount of support for the project.

  • @Createris Have you got some more information about replica project? Many rich people still have enough money. I thing it should not be 100% replica, e.g. 3rd class and engine room should be more developed on level of this days.

This project could help in today economical troubles.

  • @MrToradragon From the outset the intention was to build an exact copy but with enough lifeboats. Due to current regulations in shipping, this proved to be impossible to meet. It is no longer legal to have lifeboats mounted as high as they were in Titanic and modern fire-prevention regulations prohibit the large-scale use of wood in the interior. Also the last Titanic survivor Millvina Dean was against the Titanic II ship.

  • @littelG333 they are the ship will go along the same route it was ment to this year

  • @littelG333 i don't know it would be wierd and sorta impractical....modern cruise ships are far better and safer...it would be like rebuilding the twin towers

  • @littelG333 too costly, and with a bad name on the ship already? no....let her rest in pieces. Two to be exact, with the other parts lost....and the terrible loss of life!

Let her keep her secrets, her history, and her dignity.

  • in a news report I had read that the memorial cruise of the titanic is nearly full for 2012 now I dont think its a duplicate of the titanic ,,,but I could be wrong,,,but the memorial cruise will be taking the same route that the oringal titanic did,,

  • its not 'ss' its 'rms'

  • @iamthememphis It is both SS & RMS..

  • @RossKid2010 thank you :)

  • @RossKid2010

Titanic was never officially designated with the initials S.S.

  • @Titan52berg But it was also a Steamship giving its Title S.S, but yes your right.

  • @Titan52berg Some of the lifeboat nameplates bore the "S.S." designation, There was a photo of one in either the 1985 or 1986 national geographic articles. I think it was the latter

  • @Titan52berg The lifeboats only had to carry the type of vessel they had been launched from, a steam ship in this case.

  • i love your video about the titanic to rebuild her this moves me so much rebuild the titanic everybody we can make it happen yes would allso love to see her sail across to new york that would be wonderful

  • well if she haven't sink she whould probably whould be scraped like Olympic.

  • @geobonjoey, yeah i think so to, titanic was just a normal cruse ship like the rest. and due olderness she would be scaped.

  • @zombie19844891 Titanic was an Ocean Liner and a immigration ship.

  • @zombie19844891 Perhaps you are correct but don't forget that the Titanic was far more luxurious with its majestic interiors. Who knows, perhaps she could be have been permanently docked in Long Beach the same way Queen Mary is today.

  • @Commodorian only luxurious for those who could afford it not for those who travelled 3rd class or steerage class.

  • @meringandan On the Titanic, third class accommodations were like that of second class of any other liner or shipping company in 1912.

  • The song is " My Immortal"

  • stupid terrorist stubid iceberg!

  • wat is that song

  • Just picture the Titanic pulling in to New York if she didn't sink

  • wish they atchually could rebuild the titanic

    r.i.p

  • That would be a briliant idea to rebuild the Titanic. It was the most beautiful ship of all time, and that was almost 100 years ago. It would be nice to honour the ship, and all of the people who lost their lives.

  • haha i just made a facebook page of re-building the titanic...lol

"Who votes to re-build the R.M.S Titanic" i do hope they make it again!!! :)

  • @ilianrivasbouk12

    me i do i do i do

  • rebuild Titanic and the world trade towers!

  • @bosser231 they are rebuilding the twin towers, new design

  • @bosser231 well if it never sank.. it would be like the olympic SCRAPED

  • @bosser231 Twin Towers will come back if Ken Gardner will get his place in the heart of New Jersey for his replica Twin Towers of 120 stories tall.

  • @bosser231 Why?

  • @bosser231 They already built a second WTC on the spot where they collapsed as a memorial thing. And they can't rebuild the Titanic because its safety features are not as safe as today's ships. I mean most of the Titanic parts were built with 1800's safety features of wooden ships, and Titanic wasn't very technological back then. Even if it's big it doesn't mean it's as safe as today's ships.

  • @sacramentolove then make a modern replica? that makes it look like the titanic but its like a modern ship

  • @Sonny0612 Think about the economy, and just think about it. White Star Line does not have time to rebuild replicas, Titanic was a beautiful ship but it wasn't the most tragic sinking in history. There was a ship in the 1800's that sank, killing over 5,000 people on board, crazy huh? Anyway, even as much as we would love to see a replica of the Titanic, they wouldn't do it. It's a tradition, it's a one of a kind ship, and it would irk people if it was built again.

  • @sacramentolove i thought White Star wasnt around anymore?

  • @HorseCrazieGirl15 I meant Harland and Wolff.

  • @HorseCrazieGirl15 it was merged with cunard during the great depression under the name White Star Cunard they later dropped the White Star and Just went back to Cunard so technically White Star is still around.

  • @bosser231 its world trade center and they must rebuild the britanic

  • She was such a gorgeous ship and I have always dreamed about visiting her with my friends and family! I would love to see the titanic to be rebuilt and her sisters too. Those three are all magnificent!

  • i giong on that ship no joke

  • beautiful! life is never wasted whatever moment you may experience. life is wonderful!

  • i wished it never sunked it was a bueatifull ship R.I.P those who died

  • @AAKAKARATEKID

    good comment

  • @AAKAKARATEKID

    'sunked'????

  • by now every one is dead.. the last survior died in 08'

  • @candybox3200 actually last augest

  • @AAKAKARATEKID if it had not of sunk it would of been demolished like olympic

  • @AAKAKARATEKID Sadly, if it hadn't sunk, it would never have become the legend that it is now.

  • @AAKAKARATEKID yes only if they built ships could build ships like this one now adays but they cant not enough pride in the work and craftsmanship but it would be cool id they could

  • @AAKAKARATEKID to be honest if the Titanic never sank we, all of us, never know that ship because the ship would die in a scrapyard

    the disaster kept her alive

it's sad be it like that (my opinion)

  • Beautifel. Too beautifel! I agree, rebuild the White Star Line Olympic-class.

  • I don't know... Maybe I'd fear to do it... But I'm sure this is a gorgeous idea...
