  • awesome

    greece

  • That's soooo intense! I'm sweating just watching it.

  • thats because your fat and obese, sitting at your keyboard sweating.

  • Well first...it was a figure of speech expressing the intensity of the workout. I'm not obese by any means, I workout myself, I was just looking for some different workouts to add to my current regimen. Second, I love how you show the world your ignorance by responding to my comment in the manner that you did. I pray you learn how to stop being a youtube bully one day. You don't need to respond to every comment in a rude manner. God bless you.

  • I pray that you learn to not take everything so seriously.

  • *rofl*

  • true

  • Wow that looks like hard fun. whats the sequence of exercises caus i would like to try them and how many reps and sets or time for each exercise?

  • More truths:

Most participants drop out quickly and can't hack the program. I believe there is an 80% droput rate in the first 2 months.

The result is, Crossfit generally only retains those who were generally fit and motivated to begin with. The unfitusually give up and get discouraged from any fittness program atogether. There are exceptions of course, but fot the most part, Crossfit generally retains the most fit of the incoming pools.

  • This is BS. My crossfit gym is chock full of people who've been at it for a year or more...all started out fairly unfit. One woman lost 115lbs in her first year.

  • Trruth:

The routines will get you in shape faster than going to the gym. They are tough and will challenge you. It can be dangerous to the newby only if your trainer doesnt know what hes doing and pushes you too hard.

    Falsehood:

Crossfit invented high intensity training spanning the spectrum of metabolic pathways. Not true. Crossfit did not invent high intensity training-- they popularized it. High intensity training employing cardio and strength has been around for decades.

  • Hey, great video. I'm an avid crossfitter and it's the best thing that ever happened to me. Any of the haters should crossfit for a month and then try to talk smack. Keep up the good work!

  • Dangerous is the KEY word. But i have to say, i dont think ive seen sooo many idoits in one room before hahaha.

  • Never mind i got it.

  • what is this song name, please?

  • Alien Ant Farm -Smooth criminal

  • alien ant farm -smooth criminal

  • Song name???

  • FROM THE GIRL! Im no homo T.T

  • Ummmm, my wiener is hard O.o

  • Thanks for the video.

Does anybody know the exact name of the "big ball" they are using for the squat combination exercise?

If you know a distribution in Germany/Europe please let me know

    Thanks already

  • Dynamax is the vendor who makes those balls, search for Rogue Fitness, they distribute in North America, not sure on a Euro vendor but there must be one. You can make them yourself by filling an empty basketball with sand.

  • Let me put it this way. My son is a US Marine. I didn't see any Nautilus equipment on the training fields when I went for his Parris Island graduation. Kettlebells, Pull-Up Bars, Obstacle Parkour Courses, Ruck Sacking...pure CrossFit Military Core Body Fitness. He didn't come out huge and bulky either...he's strong as hell! If it's good enough for the Marines, it's good enough for me. I doubt they were all wearing HR monitors and having their blood pressure checked during PT.

    Keep in Kippin!

  • i don't get the point of combined cardio and weightlifting. i only see this making a difference in endurance.

  • That's exactly what this workout is, a conditioning one. We also do strength training.

  • its not called annie are you ok. its called smooth criminal

  • The song is smooth criminal the workout is annie are you ok jjstat6.

  • i hate when trainers talk bad about cross fit. im a trainer and i have started to use it on my clients. i thinks its great.....and fun

  • the band is really aline ant farm

  • the song is from Alien Ant Farm -called Smooth Criminal i had search for it ,too. and i found itxD

  • but origanally Micheal Jackson

  • can anyone tell me who sings this song?!

  • the song --"Annie are you ok" sings GODSEN !!

but the original is from MICHEAL JACKSON !!

  • OPPS, CROSSFIT

  • COSSFIT INDUCED RHABDO: Just thought you may like to know that this fitness "craz" may induce rhabdomyolysis...in short a possible lethal systematic meltdown; please be sure your trainer keeps you hydrated and regulates your heartrate.

  • response to fentonc21:

The issue of hydration should primarily be the concern of the individual. The level of junk that a person puts into their body i.e. alcohol etc, is also their personal responsibility. A trainer is just that, a trainer, not a 24 hour baby sitter.

    Take care.

  • we are a sort of babysitter (while they are in our care)and should be monitoring our clients blood pressure and heart rate and water consumption. That's why they come to the professional trainer, to improve themselves

    Take care

  • Ya sure, you monitor your clients blod pressure and heart rate? Give me a break.

  • Ya sure I do...why is that hard to believe? Are you a trainer? I am very successful at it and my clients trust me and they make great gains with their bodies and their minds.

  • Other then the fact you like to use scare tactics and half truths in your posts? And the fact that I've been to far too many gyms and never seen a trainer take BP and heart rate? And to be honest even if you tried I wouldn't trust you unless you were a trained medical professional. It's like those fat tests they all love to give when you sign up.

  • Is hydration a scare tactic? I am just saying to be aware, monitor your own body...I am not a fan of fat testing...but knowing your client's health IS important and if you don't think so you are a moron!

If you are a trainer (which I doubt) you ought to get yourself another line of work, since you care so little for the client.

  • No hydration isn't a scare tactic. This however is"COSSFIT INDUCED RHABDO: Just thought you may like to know that this fitness "craz" may induce rhabdomyolysis" And I see you've resorted to name calling so we'll just end this now.

  • All you have done is attack me. Why have you been so negative? You have not said one constructive or positive thing . What I have stated is true...I had 2 friends that it happened to. I don't resort to name calling often but you fit the profile....no need to respond. Have a great day!

  • Actually if I recall correctly you never stated that you had 2 friends who had rhabdo. All you ever said was "CROSSFIT INDUCED RHABDO" etc. It can happen but without context pure scare tactics.

If that's true that you know two who got rhabdo, I hope they recovered and are back to training and life with no side affects.

  • it is true...not trying to scare anyone,("may induce"), just to be smart in any workout...

I see a lot of really bad workout practices and many poor so-called trainers, that are more interested in looking at themselves in the mirror than keeping an eye on their paying client. I take training very seriously...take care

  • ...half truths? Always use the advice from your doctor, I am not replacing a doctor...

Usually you would not see a trainer actually take a BP, heart rate is something else...physical profile should be (including BP) taken before you start any program with a trainer.

  • My crossfit gym has 5 trainers that train at World's Gym 4 miles down the road. The funny thing is that they wont teach their clients crossfit because they cant make as much money if they make them work-out in 20 minutes rather than the typical one hour at a gym.

The trainers themselves never workout at a regular gym...they themselves know its a waste of time.

  • i love crossfit! i am in the best shape of my life!

  • Hmmmmmm I wonder why I read the same to posts from you on all the crossfit videos......lame.

  • Yep I did, it happens but it doesnt explain why your going to all of the crossfit videos and posting the same TWO comment.....still lame.

  • because you have too much time on your hands to go to each crossfit and pay attention to what i'm saying. so i said a fact on 2 crossfit sites...so what? better than what you are doing...you should do crossfit instead of hanging out on the computer all day gaining weight.

  • Yeah your right im "hanging out on a computer all day" In fact I make a little over 80,000 a year doing just that here at the University of Florida....and I love crossfit, it has me in the best shape of my life... your still lame.

  • life must be hard when your that negative.....and lame

  • Actually I can tell you why.

    Because Crossfit is FUCKING hard.

I love this style of working out, a lot of people don't.

  • those that do it understand. those that don't...don't

  • why are you critizing them ? they are trying to improve thier lives by exercising and all you do is sit around makin annoying untrue comments? get a life and quit making fun of other ppl!

  • tune5k, the dropout rate from CrossFit shows us only what we already know - people are lazy. With todays heavy marketing on miracle pills, equipment that is said to do the work for you et cetera this comes with no surprise at all.

  • wait if these guys know so much about being yoked, how come they aren't yoked?

  • CrossFit strives for fitness, not muscle size. Indeed, body builders will probably look more muscular - but does this mean they are stronger and more well-conditioned? No. Much of the power a muscle can develop lies in the neurological network activating the myocytes. Different approaches to strength training may therefore lead to a less "yoked" guy being stronger and more powerful than someone "yoked".

  • agreed! for all you "haters" out there... crossfit is SCIENTIFIC... its FUNCTIONAL... unlike bodybuilding... even old fashioned bodybuilders did it better than they do today...

  • Looks like an butt kicking workout to me.

  • i wonder is annie actually ok . . . :( lol

  • For those of you who are putting down Crossfit, say whatever you want. While you sit in front of your computer dissecting the merits of the program, police, firefighters, martial artists, and our Spec Ops are using this program. They do it because it works. Period. Bruce Lee didn't invent the punch, and Ian Thorpe didn't invent swimming, they just took it to the next level. That's Crossfit.

  • crossfit is the ultimate training. most people don't have the will, desire or ability to do this properly. or at all. i've been doing it for a year, absolutely more effective than any training ive done ever before. love it.

  • Isnt this just circuit training? Never heard of Crossfit here in the UK.

  • I never heard of crossfit and i live in the US.

  • speaking as a dedicated Crossfitter- people pay this money because they want to contribute. There are no crossfit "globo" gyms. They (the glassmans) encourage you to work out in your garage. The website is free- the fitness is real. Crossfit didnt invent crosstraining- but the NFL didnt invent football, and they hold the market because they are the best product. Crossfit IS dangerous.

  • I find it amazing people pay money for this either. Like crossfit invented cross-training. People always need some gimic to make them work out.

  • I Find it amazing that you would make a comment about something you don't know anthing about... you really should do your research on things before you make a stupid statement like Crossfit thinks they invented crosstraining. That't not even close to what Crossfit is about but good try.

  • the song is "smooth criminal", but its covered by alien ant farm. good call s1ck

  • The real song is Smooth Criminal - Michael Jackson... Hit it in youtube and you can see it. It's a awesome videoclip of Jackson.

  • how call this song? which band?

  • so what are the rep counts for each exercise?

  • isn't this by AFI

  • I can't beleive people pay $3000 for this shit.

  • I would assume most crossfitters don't work out in a crossfit gym and therefore pay zero. What do you find so lacking in there method?

  • Indeed. The overwhelming majority of crossfitters do it for free. Certification costs money, but the workouts are free for anyone with the guts to try them. Most people don't have that kind of inner fortitude.

  • Good stuff, I would love to work or train with CrossFit someday.

  • Fuck the song. Cross fit is dangerous! I love it! I'm gonna have this many ppl in my training session one day.

  • LOL.

    nice job love the song!

  • NO AAF

  • isnt this song by afi
