iaahhaa,,,,inshallah im going to see my sohna gujrat after 9 years. i cant wait to meet my buddies, teachers and Zamindar school and college,my town MAHAMMADA
to alirizwan2008 gujrati kuri chor was the actual saying but it became jutti to make it sound nicer. I can tell u the whole story from where it started if you want.
thanks for a trip down memory lane...have been twice to jalalpur jattan and yes while life might be a daily struggle there , the people are strong steadfast and the friendlest people on earth....i miss you guys.Rita from ireland
Why are you trying to describe these people as miserable?! My mom grew up in Jalalpur as well - I've been there. Yes there are loads of cattle farmers and horses, but people are faaaar from miserable. One of the happiest people I've met on earth.
The point is not the road or suffering. Muslims have suffered all thru the ages. But talk about the palaces of the President and other Govt. officials. Their plundering of beautiful Pakistan. I wish if one of the picture showed Zardari beemari sahib traveling showless.
True, throughout human history muslims have suffered at the hands of a few. You can indulge in an endless debate about the root causes of this misery. Fact of the matter is that all Islamic countries have a pre modern and pre industrial feudal societal setup. The only remedy is an extensive industrialization process which has never taken deep root in Pakistan and other Islamic lands. World's greatest emerging economies e.g. India, China, South Korea were not very long ago equally retrogressive.
Thank you very much indeed for commenting the video.
Of course the entire nation is suffering here. These photographs might not depict it in a clear and blatant fashion. But they are surely not meant to draw a rosy picture and raising false hopes. Honestly speaking, I haven't been able to find any reason to be more optimistic. As "usaeng1" rightly pointed out: our district (as well as the rest of the nation) is headed for disaster.
I hate the Pakistani elite who walk by a hungry brother and pretend they don't see. The paki elite pretend to be deaf dumb, and blind. They will burn in hell.
