You dont need to use the magic jump. You can do a combo that lifts you into the air

Actully for sherbet the car you don't need magic jump, you can also do some combo on the keydoor and you can keep going up and get it that way. That's how I got it anyways

You can get the cat by just going up to the door jumping and alternating square and triangle ( or y and whatever the left one is for x-box) it causes you to fly sorta but only if you are hitting something.

@dracomister7 I know a combo that helps you fly without hitting anything, but you need like level 5 or something, so new players can do it to, I think. I found it from this video that this dude did. He was on the Alien Ship level, started it, had magic going on a little, then broke the barrier starting the 60 second countdown. He kept on using that combo, flew over to the first alien group and killed them. When he came to those vents he flew over them! Ended up with 30 seconds left on the clock!

With sherbert you don't need magic jump, just go right up to the wall and make your player keep walking towards the wall while pressind X then Y rapidly and your player should start climing the wall.

For sherbet you can just attack the door like this:

Jump -> Heavy Attack -> Light attack -> Heavy attack -> light attack -> heavy attack .....

Until you get up there. Just a helpful tip for those who don't have upgraded magic.

@MoreZombiesLessTalk You need to beat the game, then buy Pelter & Dragonhead from the Insane Store for 5,500 each. In the XBOX version, they're DLC, so they arn't needed to get the achievement. Once you have all 28, you should get the trophy.

@PSNpwnsXBL you don't need to upgrade your magic to get to the kitty in the ark. just stand in front of the locked door and jump HIT light attack then strong attack back and forth and you will climb the air that way.(i'm assuming you want the magic boost to get the kitty)
