Still a baby. I'm trying hard to learn about these guys. Still trying to figure out what to put on the bottom of his cage that isn't dirt o.O

  • @ultamitefacebookuser the adults both escaped recently. they are somewhere in my house.. but I have 3 babies. you can buy 1 for € 20,-

  • @pittbullbill actualy, gold fish arnt bad for the,, the only probl;em is. it shortens the life span of the snake.these snakes live up to 18-15 yrs. maybe he will be living for 8 years. if u continue to feed it goldfish.

  • i find this video very sickening

  • @612Crewz Are you a lover of nature? Because this is nature :3. Eh also why look at the video if you don't like it?

  • easily catching a fish.....in a tank

  • the snake looked cute at the end

  • Yummy

  • 1:37 is the fish still alive?

  • caged animal fighting is wrong

  • really should not feed your snakes goldfish they contain an enzyme known as thiaminase which takes away an essential chemical in a snakes or any reptiles brain that will cause the snake to either die or become mentally challenged , i found this out by reading up on water snake care

  • @amdintelxsniperx Thanks for the advice! I don't keep any snake any more, but when I did have some juvenile water snakes I was overwintering for release in the Spring - "head starting" them - I fed them minnows from a bait shop - not goldfish. They grew very well, and then they were ready to cope with the wild upon release and to catch their own food. I did not let them bond with me. I wanted to keep them wild.

  • @amdintelxsniperx thanks.

  • COOl MAN!!! i want a water snake sooo bad

  • did you bought thise one? or you catched him?

  • at 2:01 show mommy if you ate all your food baby snake.... lool!

  • wow thats cool! im going to buy a water snake cuase there only $13 at a pet shop i kno

  • i thought your snake was out of breath on the first seconds.

  • one question, how can snake breath under water?

  • @Sandzak95 they don't breathe. they can be under water without breathing for more than 15 minutes

  • @pietarnhem oh ok thanks for telling me it.

  • @pietarnhem I was looking for endangered snakes, One was a water snake said to be extirpated from the State. I asked around towns. A local man wrote me a letter. The next Spring, I went to that small woodland swamp. I kept low, slow and hid behind cover slowly making it up to the swamp edge. I saw 2 little heads go under, and waited 15 minutes, not moving. Then I saw in the middle of the swamp - an adult! Then in the water was an entire colony. They had all been underwater for 15 minutes.

  • i thought i read or heard somewhere that goldfish are actually not good for the water snakes? something about chemicals that a goldfish have in them... i could be wrong or thinking of something else...just FYI

  • yeah, well a Water snake and a Cottonmouth are 2 different snakes.

water snake are never poisonous in any countries.

    cottonmouth however, are always deadly.

  • There is a water snake that is extremely poisonous and is right under the black Momba

  • Comment removed

  • NO! Snakes cannot breathe underwater...

NO! Very few "water snakes" are venomous...

YES! Many harmless water snakes DO bite, and have a nasty temper...

YES! This is a cruel and stupid video - the snake has all but drowned, there was no need to put it into a full container...

  • are watersnakes dangerous to humans? Will the bite? People say they are very calm and mellow

  • depends where you live. In Europe we don't have venomous watersnakes and they even will not bite. In United States for example there are a few highly venomous watersnakes, like the Cottonmouth.

  • Oh I see. So the snakes in both Europe and the US are very different. Must be some evolution thing that happened a long time ago xD I have heard of the cotton mouth snakes but good thing I don't live in the U.S. Not a big fan of getting bit by snakes and poisonous animals xD

  • @pietarnhem why is the mouth open?

  • @TheSnakenSFmaN that's the way those snake hunt. they barely can't see anything under the water

  • @Myobokuuzan They are nor dangerous to humans, unless you want to walk thru swamps.

  • @Myobokuuzan Not dangerous unless we wanna wade through swamps.

  • @Myobokuuzan The Cottonmouth is the only venomous water snake in the US and are actually not that aggressive. I'm an avid kayaker and have never been charged by a cottonmouth, however, other water snakes swim up to my yak all the time.

  • lol @ size of cage.

  • isnt the aquarium too small for the snake?

  • you dont feed a fuck you fuck idit

  • Can Water Snakes Breathe Under Water. And Can All Snakes Or Not I Have A Corn Does That Braethe Under Water

  • no they don't breathe. they can be without breathing for more than 15 minutes under the water

  • local reptile shop

  • 3.6 ball python eats small rats. The 5 foot one eats adult rats. But i feed them already dead rats.

  • land snakes. Me and my friends hold them all the time

  • one is 5 feet and another is 3.6 feet. Hes never bitten anyone its WHOLE life.

  • Ive had my snakes for about 2 years and they've been cool . submit doesnt know what hes talking about

  • @setorando2 i really dont know but it was a yard long and as thick as a ok hand sign

  • @setorando2 yes it was it bit two of my friends who thought they could hold it

  • @setorando2 use to have a python about a yard long...prety cool till you have to clean the aquarium .. they do have big stool and once all your friends seen it and you seen it hunt and eat its pray.. it gets boring

  • @setorando2 THEIR ONLY COOL FOR A WHILE WATER OR LAND THEN IT DOES GET BORING

  • Sushi?

  • You state that the snake easily hunts goldfish but I have two issues with this:

    1. You clearly put the snake in a much more confined space in order to make hunting easier for the snake

    2. Your snake does not hunt easily. In fact, it appears the repeated, twirling aimless attempts to even locate the fish are indicative of Down's Syndrome diagnosis for this snake.

  • 1.Water and garter snakes usually hunt like that, they don't usually go into deep water to hunt. (unless it's an almost fully aquatic snake.)

    2. Of course it does, the plastic container reflected the fish, it looked the wrong way. They eat other animals too, it's better adapted to those. Do you have proof Down's syndrome is present in reptiles?

  • @jxz107 Your second question is proof that you have been diagnosed with Down's syndrome! :-)

  • @grabes1980 I can really tell you have no life. You still haven't given me proof, all you can do is act like a weakling and say I have a problem, you don't know me unless you are some stalker. Are you some little idiot that spends his time in a basement? Unless you actually have evidence, I can say that you are an ignorant little kid.

  • My good man,

I would be hesistant to use the word proof as proof is an elusive concept that almost never comes fruition except in perhaps in the legal arena. In our ongoing discussion, we should chiefly be interested in evidence as this is the sword that scientists wield to move knowledge forward. All current evidence strongly suggests that Down's Syndrome is exclusive to primates. Have a good day my friend!

    Respectfully,

    Brian Graber

  • Fine, I will use "evidence", why say snakes (and I) have Down's syndrome when you don't know? I will acknowledge the fact that you are correct about your etymology. So is this over? Will you continue or what?

  • lol, at 1:58 his face is like "wat? I didn't do anything!" X3 so cute!

  • 2:01 the snake burped.... lol

  • thast sum good hunting

  • those snakes are realy posanis

  • yeah + that tank is far too small for that snake

  • The snake was put into that tank to feed for the video. At the end you see the snake in a different tank. I'm sure the owner used the small tank to show the snake eating. Otherwise, the fish would hide and force the snake to hunt them down for hours. That would be a boring video.

  • No snake is "posanis" they are venomous, and it isn't the same. They aren't venomous either. However, they can be bitey, and they will sometimes musk too(even worse)

  • omg hate those people which buy such animals.. and hold them in too little tanks.. retard!!!

  • wow, ur the retard. That snake was out in there to feed dumbass.

  • ghetto tank lolol

  • id die of laughter if the fish just swam and launched themselfs out of the tank and tried to flop away

  • is it venemous

  • no it's not

  • 0:07

    LOL!

    The snake bites the water!;D

  • the other 2 fish were probably like crap....were screwed

  • there was only one other fish.

  • florida water snakes eh.

  • lol he made a bubble!

  • The snake needs air to survive

  • no shit you dumb cock sucking bitch

  • oooooh, I'm really offended. go stick ur dick in a meat grinder

  • Did the fish survive?

  • Wow, he swallowed the fish whole!

  • snakes dont belong in water tanks

  • wait so is it a water snake?? and cant snakes thrive on land amd water? so when its time to eat they get in the water to catch a glodfish or what im really confused??!

  • I see where you're confused, the snake is in a normal tank but with a large water bowl.

  • It's not a sea snake, its just a semi aquatic colubrid. A landsnake that spends time and hunting sometimes in the water.

  • 1:55

    So SWEET!

  • run fish run! wait no, swim swim!

  • x The other fish was like "uh oh"

  • LOL BUBLE AT THE END!

  • arent all water snakes poisonous ???

  • most watersnakes are not poisonous

  • :54

  • 0:54

    ?

  • awesome

  • Nice catch! i had a water snake that i fed wild stream minnows. but i had to put them in very shallow water so they would flop around because he could never catch those things, they were wickedly fast. when i first saw them swimmin around in the stream they looked like shadows dartin around, it was creepy

  • That big bubble that snake made was awesome. Was it burping?

  • the snake thinks the reflection is the goldfish i think ._.

  • at the end he's like, "sorry you had to see that."

  • would it be ok to keep a water snake and a turtle together in the same pond?

  • I think that's no problem

  • as long as your turtle isnt too small and can defend itself a little i dont see why not! :D

  • If the turtle doesn't eat the snake the snake will more then likely leave or get picked off buy other predators.

  • 1:57

    Snake: BUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRP

  • Scheint ein schlechter Jäger zu sein. :D

  • That goldfish was huge. o_o

  • lmao@bubble bobble snake!

  • nice remids me of my step mum shes Asian BTW

  • hah. the other fish was like:

    "OH SHET"

  • that tank looks way too small for the snake

  • when he opened his mouth he said " all done" =]

  • lmao @ the spit bubble.

  • the fish are all like"Help me!HELP ME!"

  • does that snake have a terrarium? if he doesnt he sure really get one it would make eating the fish much easier

  • look at the fish trying to get away... i hate it when animals get eaten thanks to us. (humans)

  • well they would get eaten even if we weren't here so whats the problem

  • and they onlie got memorie voor 3 seconds

  • that's a myth.

and people who buy pets in order to watch them eat live animals are just disguisting.

  • So whats the difference if some watches a tv program that show a predator hunting, killing and eating live prey? what because it out in the wild it alright? So what if they do every has the right to watch what they want. there is nothing wrong with that yea sure having them in a place where the prey has no chance is harsh. but dont judge the because they prefer to feed a pet with live food. if it was out in the wild the snake would hunt for live food.

  • It is a difference because you have the choice to kill the animal before you feed it to your animal. Wich is less stressfull. Besides, people who enjoy watching theyir "cool" pets slaughter mice etc seldom have any knowledge of their animals or care for them. Such as the guy here on youtube that feed his pakus only mice, despite the fact that pakus are vegetarians. I can understand if your animal refuse to eat dead food, then it's ok to feed live.

  • trying to gt away????? i didnt even watch it. becoz fish make me sick and boke

  • is this snake venomous..?

  • no it's not

  • Well, I guess this is hunting, by Dick Cheney standards, but still pretty cool to watch. :D

  • Wedden dat de eigenaar hem alleen heeft voor de aandacht.. Iedereen kan een slang kopen, who cares

  • Comment removed

  • wen it wasin the water i thought it was a drowning ball pyhthon lol

  • well i think its clear that this snack doesnt smile back lolz i love snakes

  • i think i have the same snake

  • haha

the other fish was like "ho hum... what the!? GARYYYY! NOOOOO!!"

  • good god man! and least give the fish a fighting chance and get a bugger tank!

  • I JUST realized but thats a bowl IN a tank and it is much bigger if u see it closely thats why he is seen outside when he eats it
