who would of thought that i would have figured that trevor hall existed by going to a college frat party? that's when you know that drunk people love to sing to something meaningful. everybody was singing to this. best college memory so far.
@BobbyxRevolution...it's a great point you make, but it also depends on the label. Who knows what Trevor's contract looks like with Vanguard. An artist's royalties increase after the original investment has been recouped. And there ARE labels out there that play fair. It would be interesting to hear Trevor's own take on this. With lesser known artists on smaller labels I think there are better ways to support them than uploading their music to be downloaded for free.
Support the musician by buying his music instead of pirating from rapidshare. he can't keep singing if he can't eat. why not a put a link to buy his music in the description instead.
@Sinnergee08 this is the biggest myth of the music industry. The label makes the most out of record sales and perpetuates the industry. The best way to support the artist and NOT the industry is to go to concerts and buy the merchandise they sell there. Illegally downloading an album is the best way to support the artist while not supporting the industry.
@Sinnergee08 i buy cds whenever i can but being a fourteen year old i have no money and cant afford that so i get it for free and spread the word about trevor hoping his influence will increase so i try to do my best :)
I don't pirate music but i never buy it either. This guys music is the first Iv'e heard in 17 years that I would spnd my money on gladly.

@Sinnergee08 Piracy is everywhere.
Artists can make plenty of money by selling merch, and going on tour.
In fact many bands give away their music for free, and do just that.
They make a pretty decent living as well.

I love his messages. What a wonderful song. This guy sees things for what they are. No judgement or resentment. <3 He's far more than a hippie.
