The younger you are the more you focus on building your power, the older you get the more you focus on fluidness and technique. Meaning when young you do deeper stances to build leg power and as you get older you focus less on that and more on refining technique.
I can understand that because the more advanced in age and practice the stronger your stance must become. What system are these Tiger techniques from? - What form is this?
Just curious, why do you curve the hands? I mean, I know that is what makes it the tiger claw palm, but if it is blocking, wouldn't just straight fingers do the same thing? Thanks for the help.

That would be Hung Gar Kuen my friend. the child of Northern Shao-lin. You can mostly notice Hung Gar by its low stances and defensive moves.
