Thanks so much for posting these. I've read/played music all my life (tenor sax - treble clef and only one note at a time to worry about). I thought I understood music, but all this chord stuff brings it to a whole new (and overwhelming!) level.
I'm confused by one thing - The initial Cmaj triad is C-E-G. Why do we switch to C-F-G (I-IV-V) for the rest of the exercises. Why is this not C-E-G as well?
ROMAN numerals are chords from that key. I think I was pointing out that the I-IV-V are the most common chords in a key (pop or country that is, in jazz they would be ii-V-I ).

Scale tones are ARABIC#s 1-3-5
