They will how ever attack out of self-defense if you get to close or if you are a potential threat to the snakes eggs. The aggressiveness also varies upon the species and the amount of traffic the snakes see. If the snakes live in the park they wont be to worried about your average person running around. A snake that lives in the middle of no where, in very unpredictable.

yep, I live in West Virginia. Sunday hunting is illegal in most counties here. It always has been, and likely always will be. It goes back to the days when Sunday was for family and church. Also gives hikers and such a chance to get out in the woods without getting in the way of hunting. I'm an avid hunter, but just have to learn to deal with this law.
