switch it over to Virtual privite network using microsoft windows in the network connections settings you have to set it up manually okay!!!

Yes, the coverage is world wide. But a word of caution. Make sure you sign-up with an INTERNATIONAL data plan. If not, the roaming data charges will be very, very expensive.
