  • at 0:53 he farts LOL

  • Yes, he's under a lot of stress, and it wants to come out. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • At 3:37 someone farts

  • Yes, good hearing. You don't need a trip to an Audiologist. It was probably Falcon Heene, his stomach must have been churning under the pressure of being forced to lie for his stupid idiot parents. Have a Happy New Year too, and thanks for watching!

  • the parents probably were arrested for this. they are morons. plus the kids could have been taken away by child services

  • True. Thanks for watching and commenting too! Happy Holidays as well!

  • thanks for the reply and happy holidays to you too

  • @sdfan00

    You're entirely welcome!

  • thanks and they just got sentenced today dad 90 days mom 20 days starting after the dad does his time sadly i thing they get to keep the children.

  • @sdfan00

    Thanks for the update!!

You're right too, they should not get to keep the children, they are unfit to be parents, by any stretch.

  • How crap is that dad, by the way? All that stuff like "whenever he's in trouble he always does this"... "whenever we go down to the store he always wants candy and I have to say no". What kind of dad takes his kids on live TV and pretty much says "yeah this is basically all my kid's fault, blame him please". Fucking moron.

  • The dad is a moron, no offense to morons.

  • LOL, the parents obviously never heard of the saying "never work with children and animals". I hope they get the maximum financial penalty for wasting emergency service resources that could have been actually saving lives at the time. And I hope they go to prison, and while the kids are in care they are taught how stupid their parents are so that they don't grow up to be the same.

  • Indeed. Thanks for watching too.

  • "Caught Red Handed!" Oppps!!!

  • Couldn't have been worse for the dope.

  • This tops the two morons with the frozen Big Foot costume

  • LOL! Thanks for watching and commenting too.

  • Mr. Heene's breathing pattern changes at 1:00 and continues to take deep breaths every few seconds thereafter.

  • Good spot! Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • The Mom craps her pants at 0:52. The other kids look at her like WTF?

  • Good spot, yes she does! The other kids look too terrified to say a word, they stay silent throughout the entire interview without making a peep. Strange father and mother.

  • LOL! I love this video!! .. I wish Wolf would have put their ass on BLAST for their bullshit antics. ANd BTW: the father is a terrible liar... I believe Myumi.. but I don't believe the dad. I think Myumi wasn't in on it.. .but then again.. THEY'RE ALL PRETTY STUPID.

  • Thanks!

  • I'm just listening to the news... and what I would call a modern day version of the classic fable, "The boy who cried Wolf.. "THE FAMILY WHO CRIED WOLF." $2,000,000 in tax payer money to track a BALOON. Black hawk helicopters depl...oyed, infared technology utilized, Near by International airport SHUT DOWN.. all for nothing. P.S. This same family appeared on Wifeswap 2 times.

  • Incredible eh? Thanks for watching too!

  • child - "WE DID THIS FOR THE SHOW"

    parent - 'YEAH"

this is sickening. these parents should be in jail and they should be forced to repay all the taypayer money needlessly spent on surveillance and rescue efforts due to this dangerous criminal stunt. and what about all the legit situations that may have been set aside because of this stunt? not to mention all the physical danger these morons put the rescuers and the news media into? these parents are sick sick people.

  • We will probably do a followup to this video since it looks like they are now going to go ahead with criminal charges. It looks like daddy should have ridden off in the balloon for real.

  • mit, i have to admit, i did not follow this story except for bits and pieces. so thanks for your videos. i look forward to the follow up.

  • Thanks!

  • I think it's a matter of them thinking they could be stars and/or loosing the small bit of limelight they absorbed. This family had been on Wife Swap and some other TV show before. To me they're just a couple of silly little people who're hooked on what little fame they have/had. So they committed a crazy (hopefully final) act of desperation in order to not be forgotten by the public.

  • did the mom actually crap her pants because i saw it lol.

  • LOL! We believe your are correct! Thanks for watching too.

  • The Henne family should be billed, eventually, for the entire cost of the rescue effort.

If this were just an "accident," then a lovign NORMAL family would retreat, regroup, remain private and learn from their error.

This douche attention-hungry egotistical bastard of a "dad" is an insult to husbands and fathers that do the right thing and seek no face-time on TV.

He came off as a neutered douchebag on ABC's "Wife Swap" and, in my opinion, is trying to reclaim his misdemeanor balls.

  • Very well said. The rescue effort cost nearly $2 million, so he better do a string of bad reality shows, without involving his family. He can bring the wife, she seems an idiot as well, but the kids need not suffer the indignity, they've had enough being paraded in the spotlight like carnival freaks. The father is an imbecile of great stature.

  • I think you slipped two decimal points, according to Colorado officials. This was not a bathroom makeover at AIG or at Bernie Madoff's offices.

The official estimates I heard, possibly incomplete, were only the the tens-of-thousands.

You may be using Enron emergency relief overtime calculations in your final estimate.

To their credit, rescue officials don't want to bill the family and then have a DESERVING family thing twice about calling 911 for fear of having to file bankruptcy.

  • MSNBC News said this morning that the full rescue cost was "nearly $2 million," of course they could be wrong, they usually are. We added the detail since it was mentioned as pert of the "breaking news." The whole thing is truly hilarious. Not exactly the kind of media attention the Mr. Heene was looking for, or perhaps he was? It's all amusing. Thanks for commenting.

  • When totaling all the costs involved, it appears to be about $100,000. Who knows where CNN and fox and MSNBC pulled this alleged $2 million from? Even with extended efforts $100,000 sounds a bit high. $25,000 sounds about right. It didn't take that long to locate the kid. Still a wasteful exercise, but at least an amusing one. Look at how much bush spent to murder 1.3 million Iraqis with all costs combined, it will probably be a trillion $'s, including Medical Care for our wounded U.S Troops.

  • Point well made.

How much would a loving father pay for the rescue of his son?

The worthless loss in this War of our Blood & Treasure has no final monetary value. Only a cynical rat bastard would try to pin a number on that.

Stalin said that one death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic.

The death of my friend, USMC Lance Corporal Marcus S. Glimpse on 12 April 2006 was a great tragedy of infinite value to me. There are now more, I am running out of tissues.

    Semper Fidelis.

  • Indeed. We are sorry for your loss, as well as his family's. Very tragic.

The remark you made, the quote, reminds us of an unrelated remark, but the ratio is similar. J. Paul Getty said If you owe the bank $100 that's your problem. If you owe the bank $100 million, that's the bank's problem.

Great comments Zach, Semper Fi, or, HooYah!

  • This is just uncomfortable to watch.

  • So true. Thanks for watching though.

  • goood one good laugh lol lol lol

  • Thanks!

  • notice the mother trying to coach his son by shaking her head to make him say yes but they are both stupid lol lol lolAA

  • Good spot! Yes, she's a moron too.

  • lol lol good stuff so true lol llololol

  • I don't get what this whole story is about, Can anyone enlighten me please?

  • An idiot launched a homemade weather balloon for his business venture after telling his kid to hide in the garage. The idea was to pretend the kid was in the balloon, attracting huge media attention to his weather balloon idea and inducing funding for the project. But the kid was honest and told the media "you guys said I did this for the show." The whole stunt was a planned media event, that went all wrong when the father and mother were caught in their lies.

  • richard heene may very well take part in another episode of wife swap.. except he's going to be the wife.

  • LOL!

  • mmm ok ~O-(=</:

  • lol's

  • Thanks for watching.

  • Good morning Mac crew- I just emailed this video to my local news station. If they run these wackos like cable news continuous to do-- I will vomit. It was clearly a stunt- yet the media is going right along with it. I'm pissed off this morning!

  • Hope you relax soon. Life's too short, you know.

  • You sound like my poor girlfriend that has to listen to my nonsense full-time lol. But you're right- I need to relax-- this shit just drives me crazy. I'm hurting this morning and just grumpy. Thanks for the video and all your hard work!

  • Make yourself comfortable and forget about morons for a while. Unfortunately if you turn on a TV or look on the internet your bound to run into them instantly, but at least find ones that are entertaining, rather than enraging. We know how you feel only too well.

  • I can only hope this "scientist" is a republican-- these kooks should be responsible for the costs involved in the "rescue". I always love your voice over!

  • LOL! Thanks too!
