if u wanna stop that confusion from happening, teach Safeguard 2 a Pokemon on your team while Garchomp is out. it will cancel out any status problem for 5 turns, more than enough time 4 Garachomp 2 fully use Outrage. or, if u dont wanna do that, just give Garchomp a Persim Berry.
Dang, what was Garchomp holding? Something to stop that confusion would have helped very nicely! Very entertaining battle though!
