It's pretty funny that you talk about safety, yet you are shooting at the surface of the water at a relatively low angle. Those bullets are ricocheting and flying hundreds of yards off into the distance. FAIL.
1st We actually own A LOT of land in the downrange direction and it is all heavily wooded area.
2nd The creek was up that day, usually the water is lower and there is much more of a bank to the creek. The angle I'm shooting at looks a lot more shallow than it is. I'm actually about 10 ft above the water shooting downwards.
3rd I'm not saying what I was doing is absolutely safe, but for the purpose of the video I wanted the bullet impacts to be visible.
Alright since you asked for an opinion on the opener: It is cool and shows what you do well, BUT this video is only 2 and a half minute and the opener was 1 minute long, that's Waaayyyyy too long, and with your almost 40 second closer thats more than half the video devoted to something other than what people watched the video for...
Great pistols, but I think ruger over-complicated the mk iii... the loaded chamber indicator just makes it harder to clean, and the mag. disconnect fucks up what would be a good trigger. I do like the relocated mag release though.
I heard that some of the polymer grip frames on the 22/45's are breaking off with some minor jolts, i'm leaning towards the all steel mk3 target with bull barrel.
nice video, while I do belive you are a somewhat safe person, the saftey message at the end is not correct, you should not shoot a firearm at water it is unsafe and could ricochet and hurt a bystander, a 22lr has enough power to carry for over 1 mile so it could even hurt someone that is not directly around, just thought you might want to make note of that in your warning statement!
yes, I really like this little .22, it is pretty accurate in my opinion, the only downside is it jams a little more often than I would like, once about ever 45-50 rds it jams. It jams more or less depending on the ammo I use

Note: that's the 22/45 Mark III. A ruger Mark III designed to more closely resemble a Colt .45. The regular Mark III looks more like a german luger.

Oh I'm sorry the picture in the very begining does say 22/45 Mark III.

You have a typo in your intro though where it should say "Family and friends" it says "Family anf friends"
Cool song BTW The one during the shooting.
