Well my worthless opinion is that you should listen to your friend and watch the show again! I do get why people give up on shows though. After this season, I'm giving up Bones for a lot of reasons, so I understand, but as an obsessive GG fan, I'd say give it another try if only to watch Chuck and Blair be all hot and sexy and evil every week!
