My Slovak Friends - He was Hungarian end of. Just like me, My mothers maiden name and my grandfathers is Kollar, but we are not Slovak. Only the name. Get over it, you guys assume everyone with Slavic/Slovak name who is born in Hungary must be Slovak. I have news for all the Slovaks, most Hungarian people with Slovak names do not feel Slovak culturally or via language. We are Hungarian. It's funny how you guys always claim dead people who can't speak for themselves anymore.
His both parents been part of slovak minority (mom slovak/hungary and dad slovak/polish) at hungary even he was able to speak slovak language and married to slovak woman so even many of you doesn't want to agree he has been half slovak half hungary but because he born and grow up at hungary make him more likely to be hungarian and I agree with it but is funny to discuss about it especially if almost everyone of hungary history is not proper hungarian
he played 3 national team, but he said he's from hungary and slovaki, maybe you are jeaolus to you don1t have famous footballer, and where he was born that was an old hungarian area, but after 1st worldwar.......... you've have been gifted with that.
Might I add that unlike the Hungarian minoity in Slovakia who mostly are in touch with their Hungarian heritage, People in Hungary with Slovak/Slavic ancestors do not.
