There is no point to the DSi. I'm still a retro gamer. The camera is useless on the DSi, cause you can do that on a psp and digital camera. It's all just a filler so you can spend more money just like the psp go, blu ray and others.

He may not have articulated it very well, but I completely agree with everything he said. I work at Gamestop and for days now I've been checking out the DSi. The "upgrades" are completely pointless and people will be bored of them after a day. No one will use them and we lost the gba slot for that? The DS is a gaming system. What the hell do cameras and sound editors have to do with gaming? Nintendo has lost its mind and has abandoned hardcore gaming for stupid smoke and mirrors.

Looks like somebody never played WarioWare: Snapped! They also making more DSi games that uses the cameras. Nintendo is very creative so don't doubt them too soon.

Here is the soloution to the GBA delema if they add a Virtual Console for the DSi maybe people will stop bitching about it. Otherwise KEEP YOUR OLD SYSTEMS AND STOP COMPLAINING!

Of course I'll stay with my old systems, I have no problem with that. In fact, I'm not too mad at the DSi now, even thought I still don't need it. I think they should have a Virtual Console for the DSi, if they have a DSi channel now.

Games are expensive for a reason. It takes lots of people, lots of money, effort, and teamwork to make a game. It's obvious the can't just give them for free. So if you just hack your games, it's less money for the company. The more a game sells the higher chance it will get a part2. :) Also, just because I have a laptop or camera doesn't mean I don't need to get the dsi. It's more portable then my laptop. You have a point there, Kuro, I still will buy some DS games legally like Pokemon Platium and Kingdom Hearts DS when they come out and I believe too that what you said about games are expensive are true. Many ppl just don't appreciate that unfortenity. I mostly have the hack card cause obviously I won't be able to own all the DS games I want, so I only get the DS games legally that I want the most. Otherwise, I'll play it hacked.^^

I agree with Gyiry and I really have to disagree with lots of things you said there. Technology keeps advancing and so do companies. Of course it is a new way for them to get money. How else will they get money to make new things? You say that the dsi is for people who don't know how to use a camera, hack, etc. That's totally wrong. First off, your saying you'd rather hack then get games legally. (continues on my other comment)

they why the make the screen bigger is because of more pixels is like the playstation portable they make a bigiest screen so the big screen means the big resalution the good thing why they take out the gba slot well know they can consentret of giving new grapichs on the ds not like gba has 16 or 32 bit i give my ds 50 or 80 no they give them what the ds must have an well most of the ppl like to play ds more that gba soo

I ran out of space lol! The chop channel is one of the best additions; why? 'Cause downloadable sales are rising in such a speed. Retail games don't sell as they used to, downloadable ones are selling like hotcakes! Also most of the downloadable games (eg DSi Ware) Are short indie games which will boost the indie sales by a lot and we all know indie games are the 1337(Short, sweet and deadly. Thats all I have to say lol. I should'a made it a rant lmao

Honestly I think the DSi is in so many ways better than the Original DS and the DsLite; Why? Simple, the GameBoy Advance perhipal is just out-dated, no one is making GBA games any more so it wouldn't make sense keeping that in there, these days the only people who play GBA games are us the old 20th century relics. Making the screen bigger helps see things better (duh!). The two cameras are for multimedia purposes, take pix play games and so on. It can also play music. Shop Channel = Sexy.
