I didn't see the movie "Hoot"; but from what the reviewers said, it was AWEful.

Well-intentioned, but nevertheless, aweful.

Aparantly, an evil developer wants to build a pancake house in the middle of nowhere, where there aren't even any ROADS.

Much less, potential customers passing through.

And of course, he picks an endangered owl habitat.

I suppose if anything could make it bearable, it would be Jimmy Buffett's minor character appearance.

That , or Mystery Science Theater 3000.

It's aimed at kids (not that that's a bad thing).

I'm not a kid (nor was I when it came out), so I doubt that it would appeal to me anyway.

It seems more like the kind of thing aimed at 10-14-year-olds.

This song WAS on iTunes a few years ago, and I was fortunate to download it. What a great song! My kids watched it, and I couldn't find the song as it was a few years and a crashed hard drive later, I found it! "....full grown men get to learn from a child.." - need more of that in today's times.

I love this song! Hoot is my favorite movie and book! I was so excited when I heard Logan Lerman was going to play Percy! Brie, Cody, and him are all good actors/actresses, but I didn't really like Cody in Hannah Montana :P.

Once, on a cruise we ended up at the one in Jamacia. The cruise was kinda ruined though as due to engine damage we had to turn around and couldn't go to Grand Caymene, but it was still the same amount of time due to the ship being slower.

Hey MM, anyone who's a Parrothead or Landshark has defenitely been to at least 1 Margaritaville. I've only been to Orlando all the time when I lived there, and I've visited the original in Key West. Ever been to the one in Orlando at City Walk/Universal Studios? Amazing atmosphere! Key West isn't all that fabulous cause its the original, but its still cool to check out the one that started em all. Hoot was a great film as well! I loved the soundtrack. Floridays had to be my faveorite though.
