When you smoke cannabis, you're cutting off the oxygen flow to the brain and the heart, which is where the "high" come from. The cut-off of oxygen isn't good for the brain.
You also have no idea what's in your blunt; you don't know what kind of fertilizers or insecticides were used, so you could be inhaling deadly fumes.
I think it's amazing how they've twisted it. They make giggling and "munchies" look like .. awful, horrible side effects? I know people that have smoked pot for 3 or 4 years and never had a panic attack. Infact, they have one of the best memories I know of.

Its not physically addictive, but it is mentally addictive. In my opinion, that means someone wants it, but doesn't need it... i wouldnt say it is the same sort of addiction as something like heroin, for example, theres more chance you would rob someone if you needed something, rather than wanting...

yes i smoked for almost 5 years straight. i now have testicular cancer. im not anti-pot or anything tho, but i did notice bad memory loss if i smoked a lot for an extended period of time. also, i wud get really paranoid sometimes if i thought i was about to get in trouble etc aha. and for some reason, wenever i got way too high, from a bong or something, i wud get bad panic attacks. idk y, i never used to. i dont blaze anymore tho, i cant because of chemo but i do miss it!

This ad is complete nonsense, it is based on popular myths about marijuana and very little if any fact.
I used to have panic attacks, sometimes as often as twice a week. Then I started smoking weed. I've been panic attack free for 2 years.
Weed is illegal because of the Marijuana Tax Stamp Act, passed ims in 1932. The main reason for this was political pressure from cotton farmers who wanted an excuse to ban hemp, one of the most useful crops in existence.

actually, as far as the US is concerned, its only illegal because in the 60's, the tobacco industry finally got enough money together to bribe the government into making it illegal, so they could corner the smoking market. it messes with your mind just as badly as drinking does, but it doesn't hurt your liver, but it is carcinogenic like cigarettes.

The only reason why Marijuana use is illegal in ths US is because they have not decided how to make the most money by selling it yet. But it is very interesting that now that the economy is in such a precarious situation, the want to talk about legalizing it. They have seen how much California and the Netherlands have benefited from Marijuana. They said that they would tax it $50 a purchase

Just because something is illegal doesn't mean it is harmful or bad. The government has no right to tell me what I can and cannot do to my body. I am 25 and I just started smoking last summer, and I love it. I do not do it often, but when I do, I make sure I am home or at a friend's house, and we do not need to drive. If we decide to go out, we all live within walking distance of the clubs, and we go and have a few drinks, dance, laugh have something to eat, and in general have a great time.
