  • If you want to target your chest most you should do it like it's done on the video here. If you want to target your lats you should place urself parrallel to the bench and put ur ass lower than your chest, now you can use your lats more.

  • this is rib cage workout, it does work the back, and triceps, but also expands the size of the rib cage

  • if you're smaller than the average, I wouldn't try and get a wide back/shoulders. You'd just look like a dwarf.. good proportions are always better than blunt big proportions. But plain pushups should give you a good help if you're just looking for width. vary the distance between hands too. Trough years I barely did more than that and it always kept me with a wide (not monstruous) back. (perfect on the eyes of many ladies, and U know they're always right about that stuff... lol)

  • if u do Dumb bell flys then try and bend ure arms slightly this can have some effect, as well as doin the presses, and shoulder Shrugs are great for this

  • Wide grip (barbell) is more for back, close grip (dumbell) is more for chest.

  • @blackbart1911 yes but close grip (dumbell) is specifcally for expanding your rib cage.

  • more likely a upperbody exercise than a specific muscle like chest. whole upperbody should be thight

  • this is a back exercise also a core stretch there is very little chest action in this. All the focus is on the back.

  • for back you should be on the most decline as possible. also i have heard for working your back more you should use a barbell for this excersize.. this excersize also works chest for most benifit for your chest use a dumbbell and go cross ways on a flat bench. Make sure there is a good range of motion and good stretch keeping your elbows slightly bent.
