Hey so i ride a YZ125 and i fowl plugs alot i was wondering if theres a way to keep from fowling i clear it alot by revs and i mix 36:1 and i do mostly trail riding but i go fast though..

eh, i think i mixed my gas 40:1? i never understood the ratios but i do 4 ounces of oil to a gallon of gas. let your bike warm up too if you dont already.

@Tehmamby, the ratio matters on alot of things, out side temp, elevation, ext ext. 40:1 is a good mixture for 125. 35:1 being good for 250's.

get some better quality plugs, a bit more $ for plugs its worth it in the end, also everynow and then pour a bit that engine flush to clean up the lines

1) Make sure you are using the right plug.

2) Make sure you are using good pre-mix at the right ratio

3) Make sure your carburetor is jetted correctly. Sounds to me like yours might be too rich.

4) You can "clear it" as much as you want, but that won't stop a plug from fouling. Make sure you are keeping at the right RPM pretty much all the time.
